Clickbank is simple and there's the potential to recruit thousands of affiliates, so a lot of people go with that option.

If you just want payment processing then 2checkout is also a good option.

Have you looked at mobipocket.com to sell your ebooks, I use them and they are great.

Not a big fan of clickbank because they have total control over everything you want to do. In a nut shell, you essentially give them the rights to your product and its up to them to decide what they want to sell it for while you make your cut. Not the way i like to do things personally.

On the other hand, the affiliate reach is huge. It really depends what you want to do.

I also experimented with paydotcom.com and found it to be a headache. They track affiliate stuff but nothing else. The ebook "download page" delivery system I jimmied up with their services wasn't good at all.

Finally i found 1shoppingcart.com and i'm super happy with their services. The professional package does it all...including ebook delivery, affiliate tracking, easy as hell shopping cart, etc.

Big fan of 1shoppingcart at this point. But then again, i'm going deep down one niche market and becomming the industry leader. If you're just trying to make money and don't care who sells your product, clickbank would probably be easier.

All depends on what you're doing!

Just for the record this is completely wrong. ClickBank doesn't have control over your product nor do they have control over what you can sell it for.

You do not give them the rights to your product either...

I've head a lot of good things about 1Shopping Cart, as you mentioned.

Clickbank is the most obvious method, or if you have you own web page, just market that via forums etc and start making money via that route
