I'm new to this site and internet marketing in general. Does anyone have any advice of where a good place is to begin?

After you study some, you will have a better idea of what you want to do and what you will need to achieve your goals.

  Well I'm not really sure but I also created a warrior plus account and have been looking into it. I guess if you have a good wordpress plugin idea then you could sell through warrior plus right? I apologize if my thinking is wrong I am just starting to research it.

  Yes you can. Do you have WP experience? You might want to search the existing plug-ins, there are tons of them, most are free.

  Hi Michelle
  As a semi-newbie myself I think the best place to start is joining a good membership site that will teach you everything you need to begin. That's what I did (in the end) and it's been well worth the monthly subscription. It's like a home-base where I know I can go and get good support and good instruction about all the basics. It also helps stop you being lured in by all the bright and shiny offers and deals that, as a newbie are thrown at you from every direction. These offers tend to waste time as well as money when you're just starting out because you still need a good grounding in all the basics first.

  Mitchell, I am newbie myslef. I have someone who helps me out with my site for free. You have came to the right place. Many people here are nice and are willing to help you, so don't be shy to ask anything even if you at times would suspect your questions are being stupid. Their is no stupid question for a newbie.

Or any site that can be traffic driven to.

I would read content from different credible sources on the Internet.

Make sure they're respectable websites.

Yes, you can sell through this forum - IF you have a product to sell. Most people selling here are selling the knowledge they've gained through years of experience in marketing.

I'm biased (because I do it myself), but I reckon the best place for a beginner to start is affiliate marketing. Choose a good niche, get traffic, and earn revenue from Google AdSense and affiliate commissions. Some people earn pocket money doing this, others make a good living.

  Just to make sure, affiliate marketing is getting a list of people and sending that list to others and if the person sells to someone off my list I get a percentage of the sale income? And couldn't i get my affiliate list through releasing a good product on Warrior Plus. I understand I am jumping way ahead but is this correct?

Affiliate marketing means that you're selling someone else's product for a commission, not your own for the whole amount. How you sell it can vary.
