How do you guys write so many articles on one topic?

Hmmm, if you only write about breast reduction, you WILL generate a sense of deja vu among your readers rather quickly. You may want to branch out just a bit...

Also, writing articles on a fairly narrow topic works better when you publish them in article directories, but even there you can't recycle the same content anymore without getting into trouble, at least not at Ezinearticles.

My thought - look at different aspects of your topic, and also approach it from related angles...

You can talk about the how, the why, the who...

When it comes to your example for instance:

How do you choose the right surgeon?
Alternatives to breast reduction surgery.
Life after breast reduction surgery.
Stories of people who have gotten breast reduction surgery.
Different types of breast reduction surgery.

Dragon takes a while to train so it becomes more accurate. When I started I would go through a few of the trainings each day. After a while it became more and more accurate and I use it whenever I'm on my home PC.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't want to do it that way.

Broaden your topic/market a little bit more and then create category pages to optimize for your more targeted niches. You will be creating a site with greater overall draw, higher authority, and due to those factors have more chance of ranking higher for those pages.

Then factor in this question. How many women who go in for breast surgery might also be interested in liposuction, scar removal, an eye lift, or other treatments? I know, that is probably not your real market, but the idea applies to almost any market.

iWriter and Fiverr can be useful as platforms to outsource articles if you get too sick of writing articles around the same subject. It is good to have a niche to write around however if it is something you are not actually interested in it may quickly become a chore. If it is something you have a personal passion for then the legwork will that much easier.

I don't know whether you missed the boat, but I think - respectfully - you slightly missed the point. But you're in very good company there, because so many people do.

Yes, if I had to pump out daily articles on such a closely defined topic as reduction mammoplasty, I'd probably run out of things to say, too. The point is that you don't have to do that.

Article marketing isn't about the number of articles you have: it's about who reads them.

I'm a full-time article marketer. I write three articles per month, per niche. That's plenty for all my content needs for the niche.

What matters is how widely I can get them published in front of the already-targeted traffic I want to attract to my cosmetic surgery site. Article marketing is a traffic-generation method, after all.

My income is determined by how many people already interested in/considering reduction mammoplasty visit my website and opt in, not by how many articles I write.

I'm a very slow writer. It takes me hours to write an article that's really good enough to be widely published in the right places. But that doesn't matter much, because I don't need many of them: the time-consuming part of my business (as is true for any successful article marketer) is making sure that I get them all published in the right places to attract the traffic that turns into real income. (And that's not "Google traffic", by the way!).

I'd be taking the topioc "breast surgery" and taking it in many directions, all good and relevant reading.

First of All great topic, there are some good replies, some not so good, some super replies, I'm not telling which ones are which, but writing often involves many different processes, from the kind of content your writing about to the actual express point of the piece your writing.

For example, if I am writing about sociological issues, where people view the world in different ways but still see common meanings in how they pursue life, then I can write about that topic in many different ways, I can add emotional components, that bring the reader into a world where they can see how shared experiences can lead to a better understanding of how we really all share a very similar way of life on the inside that can be shocking to the mind. We think were so different, that were totally and completely unique but the truth can be somewhat different

You can write about the positive things, the negative things, you could write about product experience, how extended warranties, hardly ever seem to actually result in product replacement.

The list is endless and yes, the content does matter, the venue matters, and the target matters, it may be a little more difficult to produce better content but its usually a lot more rewarding...

This is the very reason that I am more interested in creating authority sites as opposed to tightly defined niche sites.

If I had to stick to writing just for niche sites, I would go absolutely out of my mind.

In my opinion, running niche sites gets boring...

When it comes to writing on the same type of topic I found it the best approach will be to create relevant sub headings that have to do with the subject but make sure they are all different from article to article.

This way you are still talking about the title but there are different angles to it. I usually put the keyword in Google and it gives me ideas also I search it and other people give me even more ideas.

You can always branch out from one topic to another but still make it relevant to your main topic. This ways, before you run out of ideas you will be able to create more than a hundred of them.

Other than being active in forums of your niche I was under the impression that search engine traffic is a crucial factor and so regular, original content is important?

If you know your niche really well, you shouldn't run out of content to create.

For help, you should go to EzineArticles and download their list of "article templates" that you can use to build brand new articles from scratch.

Creativity and expertise are the tools to use to write prolifically about one topic.

I would recommend looking for forums related to your niche and browse some of the questions that people there have. I'll bet you can get an unlimited source of content ideas from there. You might even find that you're answering questions you never knew existed.

It all comes down to...the more you know, the more you know you don't know.

If you don't know a topic well, and have written a few articles, you may think you have exhausted it. However, there are always articles to write.

You can actually get an idea of how to write on any topic at Ezine Articles. I usually pull that up in one browser. Then, in another, I will have Google and type in that particular keyword. Between the two of them, you can usually find enough information. There is no magic formula. You can use whatever resources you are comfortable with.

I use Dragon to write my articles. It really doesn't matter if you use it or not. If you want to get them done faster, then you use Dragon. If you type fast, do that.

The key is to have an understanding of the topic. It's like writing a paper for college. You get all of the material out in front of you, and absorb the content, getting a feel for it. Then you'll write an article. It won't be the best. But after 2 or 3, you'll understand how to write on the topic.

As far as how many to write, I like to write as many as possible. Quality is not limited by speed. Your mind can process very quickly, and so it is possible to write articles in 5-10 minutes that are fairly good. 20-30 that are informative. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. In college, my best papers were always crammed. Even at the master's degree level. My mind needs the stress to do well. Maybe yours does too. Maybe not.

It all comes down to doing it your way, not following a system, and forming your own way of writing. Many of the people on this post have great ideas. Take what they have presented and create your own way of writing content. No one person has all of the answers. Alexa always has great info, so start there, and then learn from someone else and apply what they teach you. Soon you'll be writing without too much trouble at all, regardless of the topic.

Google themselves will also furnish you with lots of article titles and ideas. Just put your main keyword or related keywords into google's search field and start taking note of the suggestions google throws at you.

You will only get 4 or 5 each time but if you add a space or change just one letter then you get 5 more. Not all will be useful but you will find some gems and they will be good relevant keyword phrase suggestions direct from google.

I am able to produce 5 articles a day on a single topic just by planning.

It helps to get a piece of paper, or open a text editor, and plot what the title of your article is going to be and add the supporting points behind the title.

I find that this method allows me to churn out articles easier. Hope this helps.

Everyone can write a few articles about something they ignore by making a research, by talking about the news, or even by interviewing experts on this matter, but for how long?

I don’t think that someone can keep writing about a topic they ignore forever, without unavoidably repeating their words.

Even when you are an expert on a certain topic and your knowledge is vast, and even if you are a real writer, you will have many problems. It’s very hard to say something different in each article; even if you'll spend all day trying to write a perfect article.

I believe that if you are not a real expert in your field, you should remain silent. If you want to make money somehow, you should care about becoming an expert on something. Then, write about what you know.

An online business is exactly like an offline business.

Will you buy something from someone you ignore? Will you trust a product you have never seen before?

No; you will look for the best quality everywhere, and for the best price you can find.

So, if you want to make money online you have to give real information to the public, and help everyone really solve their problems. If you are just playing around with words and links, you don’t deserve their money.

And they won't give it to you, because they are very demanding. They are exactly like you when you want to buy something because you believe that it will help you solve your problems.

Blogging with the intention to sell something to the public is very difficult.

If you believe you can make money with Adsense, CPA offers, and all the ads of the world even without selling your products, remember that you need traffic.

Blogging is not for everyone.

If you just want to make money online somehow, there are better options for you.

Every market has lots of different topics, niches and sub niches that you can write content around

There is plenty to write about but you do need a fair bit of experience in your particular industry otherwise you will be struggling to know what to write about

One of my first clients asked me to write 30 articles on Diabetes and I thought to myself "how on earth am I going to come up with enough info for 30 articles?"
3 years later I have written over 500 articles on diabetes and related topics and am still going strong. I do struggle for ideas at times and so I try different angles and there is a LOT to cover with diabetes but I am sure there would be a lot to cover on most topics if you can think laterally enough and use Google to its fullest extent.

Most of the people use the spinner software to write the articles.

I've found that using good old fashioned brainstorming works a treat, put the main topic in the center and branch out, then branch out even further from the mini topics. Reading, learning and researching also helps to build a portfolio of ideas for coming up with new content.

I write articles and I blog - think they are two quite different things/approaches.

Articles are written primarily for widest distribution (syndication) as Alexa quite rightly (and once again) points out. Getting the widest coverage for your article is something almost nobody is doing today, hoping that the "write em fast and furious" technique will somehow magically lead to a big win.

On the other hand, a blog does need more frequent updating, tends to be a more intimate and personal experience with your audience - and to me, is a way to bond with your visitors and customers.

When you think of blogging this way, you can end up sharing personal opinions, interesting examples, news, quick references back to your articles on your own site, notices of updates, quick tips, etc...

The primary motive is to connect and personalize the experience with your marketplace - yes this can attract new visitors as well, but primarily I think of our blogs as step 2 in our sales funnel - taking our cold leads and turning them into warmer prospects as well as enhance the relationship with our existing subscribers and customers.

I've written a few things about these topics and I think that you won't really run out of topic if you do your research. There are a million (well maybe not a million exactly) topics under these categories that you can write about.

Get ideas from Google. Subscribe to Google Alerts for these categories so you can find out what people have written already. If that doesn't work, go for content curation. We have a blog post about that in OSF.

Yeah there are plenty of ways to expand or drill down on a niche. Googles wonderwheel was cool, since went missing, but google also gives you similar results at the bottom of the serps page.

I love my topic, never run out of things to say

If you don't know alot about the subject, write a few articles, keyword related ad placement ...hope for the best

If you do know alot about the hyper targeted niche you could write a thousand articles on the subject. Spontaneously write as you speak and engage the reader into a conversation

I remember emailin' a guy about some Miles Davis, Coltrane, Oscar Peterson Albums. By the third email I forgot I was tryin to sell him somethin'. We just struck up a conversation and within days he went through my link and made a purchase. (just an example)

What I do every week is to find about 35-40 keywords every week and write about 5 articles for each keyword and I look for hot topics that I can write about relating to that keyword. Then I make a video out of that article and post it on my blog.
The basic concept is to find other popular resources online relating to your keyword and feed on that.
