Do traffic exchanges deliver high quality traffic?

There are many traffic exchanges on the Internet. It seems there is a great competition among them as well. Do they really deliver potential traffic to our websites? It seems people are busy accumulating credits there. Barring one or two I don't see most of them good enough, what is your opinion?

I dont think a generic answer is possible to the question. It depends on a number of variables - type of site, how is link placed, where are people coming from to the host site. I think quality of traffic matters over the quantity. And traffic exchanges dont usually result in good conversions, though there might be exceptions, as always.

in general ive found them of no real use, however one i do use one purely as the credits are used to create a good quality backlink. This has worked for my sites.

I regularly use easyhits4u and I hope you are probably referring to it. It delivers some good traffic but as one of the members said the conversions are not really as one would expect. Banners seem to work better on traffic exchanges.

go to auto surf sites with free credits upon joining some traffic exchange gives you 1000 credits upon joining.lets say you join 10 sites equals 10,000 credits to your site no need to click or buy credits.in 1 day you could probably get 10,000 or more hits to your site but all of them are not organic at all.traffic exchange is for get paid websites.

There is a certain type of audience that generally gathers within Traffic Exchanges...

They tend to be people willing to work hard to make something online, but the type of people who also do not generally know what they should be doing, so feel good doing something and even making connections whilst on traffic exchanges.

The type of offer that will do well on traffic exchanges varies. People are very willing to give away their email addresses in return for information (by nature, the audience traffic exchanges attract, are people not knowing what they should be doing online, so if you offer advice, they opt in in good rates). Squeeze pages therefore do exceptionally on traffic exchanges.

Traffic exchange users do buy too. I used to have a TE and make good money from it, but the user has to trust you before they know (just as anywhere) and with so many people offering free advice, they would probably opt in for free advice first then be converted to paying.

There are exceptions of course, but perhaps that is a general round up.

Yes rightly said. They work very well for get paid to or GPT and PTC sites. I have seen it works well for downline building as well. You can use it to build deep downlines but not to generate sales though. Unfortunately they work very hard but do not produce the desired results, hmm...

No, this websites just give you a non organic traffics and it didn't give you potential traffic. However, if you do banner exchange to some related websites, it can be targeted traffics.

The click through rates for banner advertising is generally good with 2 or 3 best traffic exchanges. I found traffic exchanges from logiscape group of TEs very good at least from backlink point of view.

It is of course heartening to know that many new traffic exchanges have come with innovative Internet marketing ideas. They throw open basic membership for as low as $3.00 per month which is very good and encouraging news as well.
