How do you write good product reviews?

Hello,

I have been a amazon affiliate for a few months now. Made a few bucks but not much. I have a few different websites that generate decent traffic but not as much as I like. My question is how do you write a good review about a product on amazon? Do you use somebody from fiverr, a plugin for amazon or do you write it yourself?
I would like to write reviews myself but I never seem to make them long enough and leave info out.

    I've made it a point to use a product or service that I was writing a review for. That way I had a personal experience with it and could genuinely write things that I liked and/or disliked about it. I found that the more genuine I was at sharing the positives and negatives...I would actually make more affiliate sales. I'll be honest, in the beginning, I would write reviews for things I really had no clue about and it showed in my writing and my sales would suck.
