Fast forward to present day, and I have been running my freelancing blogging business full time for nine months. ..., and my blogging business currently earns me about as much as my job did in less than half the hours.

And in that time, my perspective on what it takes to quit your job and enter the world of self-employment has changed drastically.

Thanks for sharing, I quit my job 13 years ago, I was so afraid at that time, but never look back and I don't regret it even for a second.

I really love my life after that.

When I left my job, I literally told my overweight female boss what I thought of her, and have never looked back.

Freedom is amazing. You can work when you want and what time you want. Very refreshing.

His first point surprises me a lot. When he said to disregard the advice to match your offline income with your online income before quitting your job. That's just insane. And it takes a lot of balls too.

Thank you for the post. That gives me encouragement since I just walked away from my job a couple of days ago. I don't know what will replace the lost income immediately, but I do have faith that I will be able to replace it soon!
