Default Do Not Delete

I just received this email from a marketer with heading"Do not delete"...

I opened it out of curiosity, it read: "Check this system out...blahblah....
Let's get you rolling:
His cloaked affiliate link

I mean i don't mind checking out some new stuff but i need more than that...

"Provide more content or more info on the subject"

The best part is i don't think i am in the guy's list coz i don't remember subscribing to it and i am having a really hard time remembering that if i did?

Is this aggressive marketing or they don't care what we as their subscriber think?

If you don't like what they are sending you opt out. If you do like the information and offers then don't. You are the consumer so you make the call.

The quickest way to get me to do anything is to tell me not to (so my mother says, anyway ). That e-mail would have had a zilli-second to view the inside of my in-box before it hit the 'delete' folder un-opened.

May be he got your email from another list that you subscribed to. I get many emails that are supposed to be 'catchy' like "Sorry..." "You must open this" etc. I never bother to open them until I get the time

Think that is a clever subject line and may prove to be actually quite effective in the short run. But in the long run he may be shooting himself in the foot. I say that you should unsubscribe if it really bothers you. Make sure you let them know why you unsubscribe.

I have a regular marketing stalker who emails me with the same email about 4 or 5 times a day with the title "ready to leave your J.O.B my email address"

I must have had around 60 of these emails so far. I definitely didn't subscribe to my knowledge and if I did, she has no business sending my that many emails per day of the same email. I actually can't believe that this person markets this way. Once I went ito the email to unsubscribe and conveniently, the page wouldn't load ha ha. I couldn't even remove myself from the list.

It's completely out of order bordering on psycotic,

Yves

I agree... its catchy but not good for the long run, plus its not just about the headline which bothered me, there was no information, just the header and a link.......

But whatever happened to "We won't share your information(email address) with any third party" clauses... and i am positive that i didn't get this mail through any safe list either....
