Hi All Warriors
I hope the weather, whereever you are, is as nice as here in Nottingham. I just want to now how much work you can do within 4 hours. If you can share you routine that would be nice. You don't have to reveal your secrets Just general tasks. Here is my daily task for promoting and maintaining my blog: 1: I start with writting comments on other related blogs. This takes around an hour or so. 2: I browse through the forums and participate. 1 Hour 3: Write a blog post. This can be either review from other sites, something I would like to share, etc. 1 hour 4: Write articles and submit them. I can write 1 or 2 within an hour and submit them. Thanks to article spinner. I would be really glad if you can share your thoughts. PS: I will post the outcome of this on my blog and can provide link to your blog or website. So if you want you can PM me your main URL. Thanks

Hi,
I think it helps to start out with the most urgently needed "to do" item first. That reminds me... Sam |

For me,
1. I get up and look at emails- reply to ones I've sent or been replied to that need a response 2. Submit articles from my storage bin (I have writers so no writing much anymore) 3. Right now, I'm working on finishing a few product packages so I do some work on these. 4. After I've "produced" content...I consume content (right now that is PPC stuff on Adwords site and PPC Classroom) 5. Recheck email to see any responses. That is about a 4 hr schedule. First two take less than an hr, then 2 hrs of production, then 1 hr of learning. I will usually go past the learning stage of 1 hr if I'm really into something (like I am now with PPC) Cheers, Brad Spencer |

I'm so badly organised that I waste a lot of my time. Within 4 hours if I sat down and got on with it I could probably:
Research a niche Write a short report on that niche Buy domain and write a squeeze page Start writing a sales page for a full ebook in that niche That's my industry at the moment - information products. I know it's odd but I like to write the sales page before the product! Ed |

I think it's good to you have a priority list the way you do.
One of the worst things to do is to first check your e-mail. This can be a black hole for time wasting. I try to make a couple videos or write a blog post every day. |

Set your goals the night before and focus on them only first - don't open email or visit forums until your goals have been met or you will get sidetracked! You can get a lot done in 4 hours if you stay focused

One reason why I check my emails at first is if I'm writing a message to my list, I can check what questions I have received over the last few days. Usually it would benefit my entire list. So I respond to the email and then write a "generalized" version of the response I gave one person (stripping out their name or personal situations). This is a great way to generate article or autoresponder content. Seems to work for me. "Sidetracked" is a personal decision. I feel like one thing people don't do enough of is planning an outline of their business strategy. For me, my goal is to speak at conferences and be the "non guru guru." Therefore, I learn A LOT of stuff about all areas of the internet and especially JVs and leverage. You can never become an expert in everything but you must know it so you can hire someone else to do it. Thus, I read a lot and "consume" content so I have a better idea of the marketplace. Just my thoughts. Brad | |
