I tried Pingomatic.com but with no results, I can still see my Video on Google with the old information

Pinging doesn't update the information at all. It simply alerts Google/YouTube that the information has been updated. Google may or may not re-spider the url in a timely manner.

Once it is re-spidered, it needs to be included in an index update before the changes will show in results. Google doesn't spider the web "live" and I don't think they update 100% of the index every 24 hours.

They also prioritize updates so even after being crawled and and scheduled for inclusion in the index, it will sit behind more prioritized sites that Google feels requires more frequent index updating.

Places like CNN, ABC News and live news and information sites get updated and indexed very quickly. Changes to a YouTube video (how many views do you have?) would be at a lower priority.

There are articles online about this by various seo 'gurus' but most focus on getting a new page indexed, not changed content.

Google is vague on details, but their information seems to indicate different types of crawls at different times.

Obviously YouTube gets new videos indexed and ranked very quickly because they get 1000s a day, but updates to existing videos may take longer to show up in the index.
