Hi all, its me again with a little plea to all Warriors doing business with each other, either in the WSO or Classifieds section of this forum. My plea to buyers Please READ the entire sales pitch Twice (or more) before making a decision to purchase. I have yet to launch a WSO myself, but i have seen a few instances where a buyer publicly lambasts the WSO creator on his thread, when in the first place, it was his own bad decision, and ended up buying something he didn't need, probably because he didn't bother to read the whole sales letter for the WSO. This can have a vastly negative impact, on not only the product owner's sales, but most importantly, his reputation. Try not to go public with your complaints until you are 200% sure that the product owner is a certified scammer. Kindly show a little more patience with the product creators. I know, customer is always king, but at times, the product owners are also caught up with stuff, and they can't reply your quiries immediately. Give him/her at least 12-14 hours to reply before asking around. My plea to sellers Stick to the rules when selling your stuff. Explain what you are offering in a clear and concise manner. Do not leave your valued potential customers to go figure out by themselves what you are trying to offer them. ALWAYS include the price of your product. I have seen many an offer where the WSO creator did not bother to list the price he was selling for, most likely on intent. A HUGE turn off for buyers. Try to be available for questions as often as possible upon launch. You do not have to reply to each person immediately but try to be as quick as possible. OVER-DELIVER - Pretty straight forward enough. I know i am not the rules guy over here, but please, let us cooperate, and together, we can make this forum the most beautiful place on (cyber) Earth. Thanks Hidman |

LOL - that's assuming people are actually buying much in the WSO forum... It used to be a great place to find products, but now you really have to search for the goodies.

| Yeah agree. But I actually came after spending over 10 months in DP, the products here really seem top quality compared to the rubbish there. I just bought 2 WSO in the last 10 days.

I want to comment on regarding your over deliver comment. Very poor advice Personally, what I offer is what the client gets, what I offer is a good rate with great work. I list what is included, then clarify if asked. Then if they want something that is not listed that requires significant more work, I provide a quote. Granted additional ecover sizes costs nothing, adding a form design will cost something. Time is time SO To advise someone they should expect more or that someone needs to overdeliver in order to be a good seller/provider is simply poor advice. Have a good day! Linda |
| ================================ I am taking on only ecover design work for the next 90 days. Rates are 47.00 for single cover, discounts for multiple..just ask! No payment until completed. http://www.d27portfolio.com for sample works | |

Some great points. By "over delivering" I wouldn't necessarily give "more" than what is expected. For example I'm a freelance writer, so I wouldn't necessarily give a customer an extra batch of articles, but what I would do is if I stated the article deadline for delivery is 5 days, I would do my best to delivery "early". Instead of delivering in 5 days, I would aim for 3 days. That would be my form of over delivering.

I'd rather overdeliver than underdeliver. Feedback-wise it's usually the difference between top notch feedback and "yeah ... ho hum. It was alright". Word of mouth and feedback are valuable enough free advertising to give a little more than expected.

Nowadays I visit the WSO forum once in a blue moon. I have a WSO planned for this next month but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the bother.

I used to use the WSO section as a way to entertain myself. If it was late and I was bored, I'd venture over there and look for something to get and then read for the evening It's become too hard now-a-days to find anything compelling on there.

I find it funny that someone wouldn't include the price of the WSO - wow. Over delivering is key. ..some have actually called me too and that meant something that there is real live 'person' behind the product so making sure there is a reachable number on your product dnload page is a nice added tip. |

The sad fact is a HUGE percentage of home business buyers are low quality, impatient customers who can't be bothered with unsavory activities such as reading an entire offer or sales page. They're not looking for real B2B resources, they are in fact looking for a scratch-off lotto win. But your OP is right on and I hope a few of the people who need it are impacted. |

I am kinda of surprised at some that made comments about over-delivery... The power of over-delivery is unmatched compared to any other marketing tactic. AliciaSpringer - Yes I would give an extra article or 2.. Sure would and I would not think twice about it either.. BrainDance - Yes I would create different sizes and in different formats.. Again I would not think twice.. Over-Delivery can mean the success or failure of your product or services in many aspects. I see Maria posted here, ask her what she got as over-delivery when she ordered a bookmarking wso from me. Now this is a service so yes it takes time but what the heck is another hour to me if my customer is happy and places an order again ??? Maria is just one customer, I have over-delivered to many many customers and many many have come back again and again. It's not just because I over-deliver but because I provide what I say I will along with quality and good customer service. James |

I request everyone (inclusive of myself) to be honest, not others. Please read the OP twice over or more. Got a problem with me, kindly PM me so that we can sort things out, then you can post all the negative things you want about me on this thread if things didn't work out. I guess its stuff like these that made me post this thread. Chat with you soon mate .

Let me clarify this, as from what was posted it seems you think I believe over delivering is wrong. I believe that you should over deliver BUT it does not have to be showering them with lots of extra stuff that they didn't request. You can over deliver in many other ways such as delivering before deadlines, being helpful in other ways that they didn't actually request, providing tips, suggestions if you are aware of their business. An extra article or two is not a problem if requested, but I was speaking of exaggerated over delivery such as giving double what they requested. That is not necessary to keep a client. If you do your job well, and provide exceptional service, the client will return.

No problem, I just wanted to make sure that I explained my point better. I should have been more detailed with my initial reply |
