Best Microblogging Sites to Post Status Updates to

Whats up warriors.

So it appears having "social signals" from the likes of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc etc etc is the thing to have to increase trust and organic traffic from the SERPs as well as the huge amounts of direct traffic they can bring from your followers, subscribers, retweeters, repinners etc etc.

I've tried many methods of link building but these days I like to go where ever the traffic already is. Social networks like Facebok and Twitter have been good for a lot of people but most IM's like to expand out and attract traffic from more places also.

What easier way to do that in a 140 characters or less? Create your account, get your followers, send your updates, get the traffic. It doesn't happen overnight but if there's a market and demand out there for your products/services then you can capitalize that from social networking and micro blogging sites.

So I've been putting most of the best Microblogging sites to the test and I've come up with a list of the best sites to use and a little about them. Actually, I use a mixture of Web 2.0 sites as well that you can post "any size" blog posts to but you can add friends and get followers to these also which show up in their timeline or email inbox.

Basically, any site that has a "timeline" or where people can follow/subscribe to you/your updates and sites that actually show your updates in Google in minutes!

Best Microblogging and Status Updatable Sites

I've split up the actual Microblogging sites from sites that you can use as a microblog. Eg; Some sites let you post "blog posts" but you can still send simple status text only (with a hyperlinked URL) posts/updates.

Sorry guys. I could have just said. Hey guys do you know any more microblogging sites like these? But I'm not like that.

Anyway, hope you find this useful! Please let me know of any other Microblogging sites you know of. I use these and post an update to them every day and some get followers the natural way by themselves.

Definitely worth doing IMHO.

Best.

Mike.
