Hey Warriors,

I'm wondering, if you build a site using dreamweaver, is it possible to modify the site using another program other than dreamweaver? Say frontpage. Or do you have to use dreamweaver to make changes for the life of the site?

How does this work?

Thanks for your responses!

You can edit the output in virtually anything I suppose, but I have never used FrontPage () . It's the html that you need to edit, and you can do that in a text editor if you have to.

Please don't tell me you are migrating from DW to FP though.

Yes, dreamweaver is simply a sophisticated HTML
    editor.

FrontPage, however, is a cumbersome application
    with very few benefits!

If I were you I'd stick to DW. I use DW8; it has its idiosyncrassies, but more often t han not, it's just a matter of a learning curve.

I agree, DW is so much better then FP.

One thought, if your using DW templates, I am not sure if those can be edited so easy in FP or other editors. I never used them myself, just thinking out loud.

Yeah its all just html, even notepad will allow you to edit the pages, though I would advise against downgrading from DW to anything else.

    DW is so pimp
