"Does it work in jumla" "does it work in wordpress" stupid question

I get tired of these questions... people using jumla and wordpress sometimes work themselves into a corner...

There are times when a simple html or php page is so liberating because people do not have to ask stupid questions about "does it work in an html page."

So my question is this...

Does html work in wordpress? How about javasript?

Does html work in joomla? How about javascript?

Why are there so many people who look at something as simple as a javascript include and cannot figure out whether they can use it in Wordpress or Jumla?

I think what this world needs are more idiot proof plugins for wordpress and joomla that make it easy to paste a simple javascript include into the body where you want the element to appear as well as a simple plugin that allows you to add a couple lines of javascript code to the head of a jumla or wordpress site.

If anyone can point me to two plugins that do that maybe I can just reply to these annoying questions... sure here is an idiot proof plugin for putting script in the head of your site and includes in the body.

This reminds me of the old... "will it work with my web builder" question that I always answered... "can you use html in your webbuilder?"

There are a lot of them.

I use "Adsense-Deluxe" and as the title suggests, it's for adsense but will allow any code.

Look at the WordPress repository for more specfic ones that attach to the editor.

For the header, wordpress has an easy feature. Its called "theme editor" and the file is normally header. Pretty simple if people look and/or use Google.

If you get a lot of these "stupid questions," perphaps you should add them to a faq, create a video tutorial or something. If you are being asked enough that it bothers you, maybe the fault isnt in the client but the instructions.

Josh, you just took me down memory lane for a bit...

Back in another life, I used to tell my engineering manager that I'd finally made a process "idiot-proof".

He always answered me by warning, "Never underestimate the power of idiots to screw things up."

Yes, and on top of that to make things even more complicated I have to figure out who the idiot is... me or the wordpress and joomla users...

Or the silly developers who made using simple html and javascript complicated in Wordpress and Joomla

I think I see a business idea in the making.

Staples has the "easy button" but it has its weaknesses...

But the any key... now that has potential!
