YouTube video embedding and backlinks
I read something on a blog the other day that really surprised me.
I'm not so sure of its accuracy and so I'm posting it here, for feedback.
It said that by embedding videos from video sharing sites like YouTube, you are, in effect, getting backlinks to the site you are putting it on.
I would have thought it was the other way around, if anything... that you are linking to YouTube, etc., rather than getting a link from them.
