[Need your help] What style (design) te develop?

Perhaps a little weird topic but I hopefully gather some useful comment here so I can proceed with my work.
I'm currently developing a Webanalytics software product that also have a "member interface" for all kinds of statistics.
Now my simple question to you is: "What style / design do YOU like?"
Perhaps a clean design like this: keywordspy.com
Or just the simple Google Adwords interface?
Is design important or is it just about the data?
I'm very curious to your opinions and what style you prefer.
Please include examples, pictures, links.
