OUTSOURCING Telesales & Affiliates!!!

I have a new niche classifieds/listings website and amd wondering what the best way to get my sales kicked off is?
Im thinking that my two best options would be telesales or affiliate marketing.
If you where in my position and needed to sell what is essentially ad space to a specific group of people for a website, which path would you take and why?
If you are experienced in this area please let me know as your comments will hold much more weight with me.
