Squidoo question

INTERNET MARKETING

I've decided that the URL for my squidoo lense isn't really what I want.

So I added another lense. Is it possible to delete the original lense, and then re-name the new one to that of the original. In other words, I'm just going this route to get a change of URL.

Is this do-able, or will Squid flag up the lense name as "already used"? I'd just go for it and try, but don't want to risk losing the original if all else fails.

Once you delete the lens... its gone. You should be able to rename it and use that name.

I did that a while back, but this was about a week after I deleted the lens in case there was some kind of replication that had to occur.

  Test it yourself. Put up a garbage squidoo lens, let it sit for 24 hours, delete it and then see if you can put up another squidoo lens using the same url.
