Re-branding of youtube channel

I have a youtube channel that I have been aproved for the youtube partner program.
The channel have been used to upload music videos from unsigned bands that let me use their content.
I got a mail from Youtube where they suspected me for unlegal uploads. I sendt a mail back with documentations of my right to publish.
I never got a reply to the mail. The channel views have almost stopped lately, but I am not sure if its related to the warning from Youtube.
The partner program is still active and I can upload new videos including youtube (adsense) ads..
The question is if it is possible to rebrand the channel to something different. I was thinking of posting video tutorials on webmaster related stuff that I make myself.
I will have to change the name of the channel to do this.
Is there any interest for video tutorals on youtube by the way?

YouTube is becoming crazy day by day. I have stopped using them because some of my highly targeted areas have banned YouTube

Why not just create a new channel rather than mess with changing one that may be sandboxed anyway? If you're views have diminished, I see no harm in starting fresh. And yes, Youtube still works great and tutorial videos are the best kind. Good luck!

On the Youtube tutorial question - Yes - the students @ my Academy love my social media Youtube optimization tutorials. I would be VERY interested in such a series (branded channels). Let me know.

Have you tried a 'syntax search' for your channel and video syntax search for uploads to see if they are still indexed on the tube?

The reason I want to keep the channel is because its a partner channel.
If I start a new channel I never know if I get into the program.
It looks like the channel is indexed, and I don’t suspect there have been any peneltys. I think the low views comes from little interest for “unkown” metal bands..
Anyway, I saw there is a new option to connect the channel to my G+ profile, and that might be the best way to rebrand the channel?
