Review my partial sales video

It's been almost 3 months now since I've taken 2 people through my 12 week body transformation system. I chose to video their complete progress rather than using photos for more realistic approach. We are a few weeks away from the final reveal, and my video editor has finished say 2/3rds of the video and it's already long, and I haven't included the week 12 results and what the program involves. I've seen other videos and they are in the 20-30 minute range but I think people will just tune out.

Anyways, could you check out what I have so far and let me know what you think?

Why are other videos 20-30 minutes long? My gut tells me, it's because the audience has the attention span... that being said, this video looks fantastic by what I've seen so far.

    Hi Matt,

It looks great to me. High quality video. Clear and loud enough voice. Good luck with your launch

I'm thinking I should put some teaser clips of the two victims in the beginning to keep the viewer intrigued to watch the whole thing. What do you think?

Hey Matt. Congrats on your upcoming product.

Your point here stood out to me immediately because the beginning of your video had too much "script" and "I-heard-it-before" copywriting. Listen you look like an honest guy, and I really want to believe what you are saying, but to me, the overly tight production values of your video are getting in the way of YOU and I making a personal connection.

If you are selling me something that is really quite this personal, I need to be hooked in to this video from the first moments, and I need to really BELIEVE every word you are saying. I feel that your sales copy / script is actually inhibiting some of your natural passion for your product.

So yes, then perhaps you can start off dead smack in the middle of one of those interviews, then loop back into how you are going to help that person. Some of the gym shots can also be used a b-roll while you cover some of the major sales copy points that you will need to get across.

Let's face it, you are in an ultra-competitive market so to me cookie-cutter sales copy is not ideal. What I need to see here is sincere passion, honestly and emotion. (And I do also say this from the point of losing 30 pounds recently.)

You may not agree with everything that Gary says in this video below, but from the very first moments you MUST absolutely believe him, and respect HIS passion for the message. This is the crux of what I feel you are missing in your video, and what will keep you from making a measurable impact in a very competitive niche.

Great video Matt, I know somebody in the UK that charges £10,000 per client for EXACTLY the same service you are providing. He get's away with charging that much, purely based on how he's positioned himself.

    All the best mate.

Video looks good. You did a nice job. You should add teaser clips.

    Hi Matt,

Really good quality video here, normally I would say that a video this long could be classed as risky. Although you have filmed in a very clever way and it is like watching a TV Documentary and not a sales video. I believe you could get away quite easily with this video. It grabbed my attention anyways

    Well done pal,

Have a great day and good luck with your launch.

I chose entrepreneurship over further education despite being laughed at by my friends and family..

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)
