How to Create Free Gift Certificates?

Hey everyone,

I need to create a gift certificate for an offline client.

Basically, I want to set it up so that anyone we opts in to his e-mail list will receive a free gift certificate that he or she can print out and bring to the store.

Can anyone recommend any sites that I can use to create a gift certificate for free?

Thanks!

Justin

This is a broad question but I'll give it a stab.

If you are doing business online, then you can offer anyone "gift certificates" by offering a special discount link to your product or service.

If using Paypal or other payment processors, you can always add the discounted payment page but keep the link to it hidden so you can send your customers your special discount certificate that is made by using any graphics software.

Just link the image to your special discounted link in order for your client to get their discount. I noticed many online marketers do this and it's very simple to do.

    I hope this helps.

      Thanks, Michael.

Sorry I wasn't clear in my OP -- I actually want to create a gift certificate so that people can print out the certificate and bring it into the store.

      Any recommendations for that?

I've been manually creating them for my clients. There pretty easy to make using just about any graphics program. You should be able to whip one up within about 20-30 minutes.

Then you can use it as a template for your other clients.

Yeah, I have just been thinking about creating a template on PPT.

There are a lot of "certificate" templates you can download. You also might want to go with just a large red dashed border -- you often see that used in the real world.

Then create whatever wording you need and save as a PDF file. Or, you can just display it on a web page and have them print the page, but using a PDF file would look "nicer." =
