How To Make Money During The Xmas Season

Hi guys, I have been thinking is there any way one can make money online during the forthcoming xmas season? I have read post in the past how some guys did it but no clear cut info on how it was done. I would love to make some money as well but lost on how to go about it. ANy useful tips will be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah, go over to google trends, insights for search and look at the searches that are seasonal and see if there are breakout keywords that you can expand on and build a blog around. Next go buy a domain with keyword in it and get some unique content, and videos onto your blog, go to fivver to get some backlinks to your blog, and get page 1 rankings to your blog.

    Folks will land on your site, click on pics or links of xmas products that you can sell, amazon, clickbank, adsense and then you get commissions. It's November though, so getting decent rankings before xmas might be a stretch.

      I love that idea. Someone should try it. I would but I don't have a Santa Suit. Maybe I can find one though.

    I'm working on building up Squidoo lenses to promote Amazon products. I could create an Amazon site but I love how quick and easy it is to set up lenses on a ton of different topics and start making money.

      I knew Squidoo was popular several years ago, but I didn't realize it was still a good place to generate a bit of income. Its appeal for me would be that it can work even for those people (like me) who in states where Amazon restricts residents from being Amazon affiliates. I'm glad to know it still works.

        I know a lot of people with very poor English that do well creating sales type lenses that focus on presenting products. They generally don't take as much writing. You can also always hire a proofreader or writer. Most of my sales lenses only have 300-400 words of content.

    Ya, Squidoo still works just fine. If you can't be an Amazon affiliate, it's a great way to promote physical products through Amazon. You can create a good lens that showcases a good number of products in around an hour or two.

      Thanks, AmandaT! This is good to know. I'm going to pull out a couple of eBooks I purchased a year or so ago about Squidoo. I can think of at least two. I may aim for Valentine's Day, if not Christmas.

    The quickest and easiest way to make money starting TODAY is to sell physical products on Amazon. There are virtually no barriers to entry, you don't have to wait for a website to be ranked and people will be looking for what you're selling, not the other way around.

    Yeah, there is a way. The key is knowing how to do research, getting ranked and stuff like that for products before they come out. Since there is little to no competition, it doesn't take much. The sheer volume of traffic will keep you atop the search engines. Here's an example. I don't know if you've noticed, but lots of video games get advertised on Youtube before they come out. With a little research, it's really easy to dominate stuff like this.

      Amazon is probably your best bet. You could go the gift route but you could also consider a "christmas store" or blog selling christmas decorations/trees etc. There are also quite a few ebooks on Clickbank you can promote offering tips on how to survive Christmas, christmas recipes etc and you could blog about how to prepare for Christmas etc ..... I would start now though , in fact I might do the same thing myself...

      Incidentally, you could do the same thing for any major holiday or occasion - valentines, Easter, Mothers Day etc ....

      Incidentally, eBay also has an affiliate program, or try Commision Junction for more specific retailers
