"Viral marketing" is not only an over-used and abused term, it is largely a wasted thought among interent marketers. Always be thinking "niche marketing", as you will be able to improve your chances of success dramatically.

Will I liked your video here and this is an excellent marketing tactic. Thanks for posting. However, imho, this is not a viral tactic at all, but rather a (digital version of a) traditional interactive push marketing strategy.

"Viral" comes from "virus" - meaning uncontrolled replication. As far as the internet goes this means masses of people sharing/spreading/copying/parodying infectious content, even if the original content is removed from it's source.

Take for example Gotye's song released about a year ago. It went viral, due in large part to sharing, covers and parodies that would still continue even if the original video was removed. At it's height of popularity, you could not have stopped that song from being heard everywhere.

Your strategy Will, puts your product in the hands of your followers/subscribers and they are encouraged to share with others via using the PLR Master rights. Sharing in itself does not constitute viral. This is particularly true if you offer "incentives" for sharing. That is clearly "push". Excellent strategy - yes, but not viral. You are essentially "Push" marketing which happens in a lot of offline businesses as well. The tactic you describe in your video is really no different than "bird dogging", or "tell a friend". YOU are still in CONTROL of the message and disseminating to potential customers. Once you remove your offer/product, well, then there is no product. Hence, not viral.
