Webinar Presenters... Stop Looking Like An Amateur

How many times have we seen this. A webinar is in the middle of a Powerpoint and then switches over to a browser, fumbling around, revealing their slides, etc.

This addin lets you embed a browser in your Powerpoint slide. Works well for me. I'm not affiliated in any way.

  • I am surprised how many webinars have such a variety of tech problems in 2012. One melted down completely right in the middle and they had to reschedule it days later. Strange.

Some would argue things like that make a webinar feel more personal rather than corporate. You might well find some people do things like that on purpose.

  • That's probably true. While I'm ranting, here's another complaint.

The audio is often very different for each speaker. One person TALKS LIKE THIS and blasts the audio meter in to the red zone, and the other one can barely be heard. There's got to be some way to level it out as it gets transmitted. /rant
