INTERNET MARKETING

For those that have a wordpress blog what is the typical number of posts that should be made daily. I heard 1-2. Is this correct?

The answer is difficult ... I guess the obvious answer would be as many as you want to. If you are looking for a minimum amount I would say around 3 or 4 a week would be enough in IMHO

Frank,

This isn't an exact science!
You can post how many you want but it depends on what you post and what are your goals with that website? Build a following crowd? Get people to click links? Sign up for your newsletter?

Just give quality!
Also, I want to add the fact that from a SEO standpoint it's best to put over 500 words in 1 post and it's even better if you can include multiple types of content.< From my own experience!

It really depends on what you are posting and why. Some people post a few times a day on their blog while others once or twice a week. Again, it just depends on what it is you are doing and what market you're in.

If you aren't sure about this, find other blogs in your market and follow them and watch how many times they post. Do what they do.

  However, it is very important that you maintain the pace.
  Yes, start building up the content quickly, then slow down and cruise at the same speed for weeks and months to come.

It depends upon the niche you're targeting, If you are providing news than i think you can do up to 5 a day but if you're running a blog about tips, tutorials or tricks 1 post a day is good enough because it requires research and all and you must spend some time on seo as well as social networks..!

There isn’t any specific count of posts that you need to do on daily basis. It basically depends on the quality of posts and activities done to promote the same. However, if you still need a number, doing 4-5 posts a week is ideal.

Hi Frank,

If you want to look like an authority within your niche, then aim to add at least 2 posts a day with awesome content that will attract visitors to keep coming back toy our blog.

Add an opt-in from to your blog so you can build a list of subscribers.

If you know SEO then aim to please the search engines by constantly updating it with fresh content that has been well optimised.

If you are not aiming for search engine traffic then just update with enough content so you look as though you are always activley looking to help people achieve what they are looking for.

Link your blog content to FaceBook Fan Page for extra exposure by adding a F/B comments plugin to your Wordpress blog.

Try to spend a set amount of time producing content so you can still get on with other important tasks within your business.

It depends on what you want the viewers to do. There is no much difference if you post 2 posts per day or 10 posts per day!

It depends on your strategy and what your content focus on.

News and Trendy topic - keep update asap.
Your insight knowledge - when you gather good enough information maybe come from your research or maybe come from your experience.

It depends on many factors.. On your topic, on posts length, on your ability to write daily, etc..

I have a blog where I publish long quality posts once a week, and another one where I give short tips almost everyday.
