Pay what you want with Pay Pal! DLGuard Question..

I want to sell a product where the customer pays what they want, but I'm not sure how to do this.

I have dlguard but am not sure how to create a button that the purchaser dictates what they want to pay, and essentially so that they don't pay $0.01c for the product.

I'd do it in increments, like $5, $10, $15 and upwards for example but I'm concerned about the delivery.

For users of DLGuard is this doable? I tried to copy the product and create a coupon for the copy, but it kept coming up the discount price so I wasn't sure what I did wrong.

    Brian, I don't think this is possible with DL Guard. You normally have to change the price within DL itself.


    The only thing I can suggest is to take payment yourself and then add them import them into DL Guard. That way they can get a link emailed to them and you can protect your download.

    I don't think you can automate the whole thing with what you want to do.

      Here's an idea that might work.

      On your sales page, provide a range of optional payments
      So they can pay $5, $10, $15, $20 for example.

      In DLGuard, you'd have to create four single products (of the same product) set at the different prices. Then, put the code for each single product onto your sales page.

      That should work. ie: Each code would display a different pay button. On the sales page, you might have to put the price under each button yourself, though.
