Anyone here hire content writers for their Kindle Books?

Just wondering if anyone here hires content writers for their Kindle Books, and if they've had any success with it.

I'm looking to outsource some writing but I don't know what's a good price point to pay and how good the quality actually is.

You can hire native-English writers (with college degrees) on Craigslist.

The rate and quality really depends on the topic of the writing, and how much research your writer will have to do.

be careful when hiring content writers especially off CL. lots of good ones, but a lot of overseas workers who will give you poor content and lots of errors. I charge .03/word generally and work quality goes higher depending on the topic. Just as an fyi.

Make sure that if you do hire content writers, you check and double check what they give you to make sure it is 100% unique. Also, make sure they agree that you will own the content and they can't use it anywhere.

Many clients hire my company for kindle ebooks. The rate is usually similar to that for regular content/ebooks.

  And make sure you know enough about the topic to know if the book is any good! I recently read a book on writing (no less) that the author outsourced. And it was riddled with errors because the outsourcer did not know his stuff and the "author" wasn't knowledgeable enough on the topic to catch the mistakes.
