| Wherever possible I have always made some kind of partnership with someone who is directly involved with the Niche I am in. The relationship may be just purchasing some content from them, hiring them to write some articles for me or promoting them or a business they may have on the site. When this is not possible I use some of the article software that you will see in my toolbox at the Niche Market Ninja blog, I then take this content and rewrite it manually. I never use article spinners, for no other reason that I do not want any content pointing to my site that is nonsensical. My sites aim to provide users with valuable information, I try to keep that idea at the forefront of my content creation en devours.

I saw this thread on my PocketPC phone (At the doctors') and I just had to look at it when I got home. I was particularly pleased that it showed me how to use MicroNicheFinder in a more positive way than I've ever used it before. Thanks very much. Brian |

what a great info, most especially on sktool. I have not use it before even though I have been using alot of google free tools because @ a time it seems google itself is monopolizing IM tools which is good as they are all for free. Like a friend of mine would say. Internet marketing its all about google, now I understand why. |

Kudos Nick for the above generosity! From an SEO perspective, where do you stand on dashes/hyphens in domain names? Is keywordphrase.com better than keyword-phrase.com in your opinion? Does it matter if you add a digit or hq etc at the end or beginning of the domain e.g. keywordphrasehq.com or mykeywordphrase.com? Great job once again and well done! |

This thread came at a perfect time! - This summer I plan on creating a large network of niche blogs/websites. Nick, couple questions- how did you manage to not get slapped by Google? Are your blogs on different IPs with something similar to SEOhosting.com or hosted on one (or multiple) dedicated servers? Again, awesome videos, and great videos on your Youtube channel as well -D.C. |

My personal view is to always try for the whole keyphrase in the domain with no hyphens or extra words, however that is not always possible and if it is a phrase and niche I must go after I will use Hyphens. I definatly find it a little harder to rank but ultimatly end up ranking because while keywords in the domain are imporant, there are many, even more important components to SEO, like relevant backlinks using both your targeted keyword, backlinks that are related to Latent Semantic Indexing and good, fresh content. Thanks for the feedback. To answer your questions. I set up hosting rings, each ring consists of about 25-30 websites. And then each ring is hosted on a different class C IP address. Hosting servers are also all over the world, as I have recently (past year) begun focusing on local niche markets (Will be doing some videos on that soon) so I make sure I host all my .co.uk sites in the UK, .com.au sites in Australia etc. My hosting solutions are also varied across mainly shared hosting environments, but I also use some dedicated servers, mainly in the UK and then also Virtual Private Servers. If I had more people willing to help me out with no hidden agendas and less so called "Gurus" trying to sell me the next version of their rehashed garbage, it probably would have taken me a lot quicker than 6 years to get to the point that I am at now. Helping people succeed is a reward that no commission income could top. Glad you are enjoying the tips. Cheers Nick | |

Nick, Thanks for the fabulous info!! Do you basically set up mini sites of only a few pages then, since you target one product per site? Past your initial SEO strategies and back linking, do you find that you need to continously work on getting more links to your sites? Just wondering how in the WORLD you can keep track on all those sites.... ![]() Evita |
