Urban Myth School Of Internet Marketing Debunking Thread
We all know and love them, the graduates and current students of the Urban Myth School Of Internet Marketing. Sometimes humorous, sometimes annoying, often times sad. They cling to false information, and it costs them whether they know it or not.
Hopefully we can dispel some of these myths and have some fun in the process. Note: this isn't a newbie bashing thread, rather a newbie enlightenment.
All I ask is that if you post a myth you also post your argument to refute it.
Here's my favorite.
Myth: You can only have three Google accounts per IP.
Argument: I personally have 18 gmails at last count with three G+ profiles active and five youtube channels. There are small public libraries in my area who provide internet access for hundreds of residents, but only three can have Google accounts?
