How to setup squeeze page on existing site.

I have a lawn care site (wordpress). Now I want to add a squeeze page to it. Do I just redirect my landing page to the squeeze page? I want visitors to be able to go to the site even if they don't opt-in. So, if I have all traffic to the site redirected to the squeeze page and they don't opt-in, how do I get them to the landing page of the main site?

    You could have a flot over pop up(not annoying) they can click away, or opt in on there.

    I might be barking up the wrong tree here but why don't you put a link on use squeeze page directing non-opt-ins to your home or any other pages, use H1 tags and blue font >>> to make it stand out <<<?

    Hey simiV,

    Why dont you place a a free gift on your site where customers would give their emaill address or name, in return for the gift. ( audio,ebook,video etc).... Also place a popup so that you dont lose your customer at all. (use popup domination)

    Set up a squeeze page/landing page seperatley if you want, and offer the gift there, and direct the traffic to your squeeze page, once directed there, then once you have captured the customers email redirect them to your site.

    Test and see which works better.

    Two options really.

    1) Get popup domination (will have a popup opt-in box)

    2) Have a widget (in the sidebar)

    There are many popup lightbox plugins if you are using Wordpress, these popups can determine whether they will appear, often they appear when a visitor visit your site the first time.

    I am using this one: Popup Dialog Box . You can find it from Wordpress plugins installation interface.
