How much negative feedback does your Facebook page get?

This morning for the first time I discovered the 'x people gave negative feedback' information in Facebook insights. Every single one of my posts received negative feedback ranging from 1 to 17 with the average being 10 people. The average amount of engaged users is around 1900 so it seems like a large percentage. Actually disliking a post enough to bother taking action is a lot of dislike.

It really makes me question my whole approach. I have 6000 fans and my posts never reach more than 4,000 people total at best (judging from that info at the bottom of each post). I thought this was just edgerank bullshit and I was doing good, but are the above stats actually weak due to my constant negative feedback?

Please confess your average negative feedback stats for your pages if you could be so kind.

Also, if you have no negative feedback - how often do you post? I post everyday because I thought that would be good for engagement, but now I'm not so sure. I'm scaling back to every 2-3 days to see if things improve.

I am not so keen about FB page and the negative feedback stats. It's only now that I learned about this negative feedback. I will check mine together with the rest of the stats.

^Go to page insights and scroll down to the 6 column table that has all your posts listed. If you click on the number in the engaged users column for each post, it will tell you how much negative feedback that post got.

      Thanks for pointing it out!
However, "Engaged users - The number of unique people who have clicked your post. Click on the number for details. Figures are blah blah blah"

I clicked the number in the ""Engaged users" column, and see a percentage chart.
So, let say if I got 30 in the ""Engaged users" column for my post, is it mean I got 30 negative feedback?

Sorry if I bother, I'm not very familiar with Facebook. And did not see the word "negative" in the page at all.

  • You must be doing something wrong, this prompted me to look at ours and I would say 10% of posts received a negative.
