New and in need of Focus

I am 26 years old, graduated college with a degree in Marketing and International Business although now not working in either of those fields. I work full time for a large insurance company and have been with them since I graduated in 2009. I am trying to break into the internet marketing arena although I feel lost. I just got married and am looking to make additional passive income to help pay down some student loans and hopefully be able to survive off it.


I recently was searching for ways to make additional income and found this site and alot of internet marketing information (likely too much). I am on information over load and asking the help of all the experince here to give me some focus so i can start my journey.

If someone would be so kind as to point the newbie in the right direction of what i should focus on to get started and which opprotunities have a low cost as right now im not in the best financial position due to helping my family when my dad had a recent heart attack (he survived, thank god). I am eager to learn and just need to be put in the right direction.
