Best WSO for a Lost Newbie? Please Help!

Ok it is very simple.

Get a Mentor.

If you are as lost as you say and it seems like you need to have your hand held to get to where you want, especially to get there by the end of the year. A mentor who will put in the time to answer all of your questions is the way to go.

a WSO? seriously most of them are rehashed info, can't suggest any which is working, also that mentor thing, it needs a startup cash, and i don't think you can afford it now, so i suggest that you offer a service that others are looking for, at a competitive price than others, try the buy/sell section here at WF, it costs a $20 fee to start a thread, best of luck.

I'd suggest reading as much as possible before diving into any WSO...there's a lot of planning that needs to be made before you can actually get started.

Okay i have been lost since years. I still am to some extent and here is my advice:

The only way one can win in this arena is knowledge. And by knowledge i don't mean that you should buy WSOs there are equally good golden nuggets of information shared right here in the forum.

1. Use the search function above. Find threads with most thanked posts. There are numerous ideas and tips and stories.

2. Go to click bank read all the copywriting material see what they are doing.

3. Get into the list of people here. Don't buy stuff. Sometimes they share free information. See how they are selling.

4. See more and more websites. Research on google keyword tool. Go to alexa and search top 10000 sites. Look at the sites which range from 40,000-100,000 notice how they are making money.

I think it is really about reading a lot. At least for a week. And you can get some good information for free.

Here are my personal two favorites:

For affiliate marketing i recommend reading Affiliate bully's free guide here Read this guide and chances are that you will never need any WSO again. It covers the ground rules.

For Adsense style sites. I would recommend use google and see sites that are made for adsense. Use Semrush/whorush to find netowrk of sites. See how others are doing it.

In the process you will come up with ideas on how you can replicate it too.

If you're a newbie, don't buy anything.

You should only buy stuff that you need.

Quite frankly, getting caught up in the idea that you need to buy stuff can be potentially crippling.

Instead, study the basics, here.

Why would buying another WSO help you?

Find out who the top affiliates are that you want to model yourself on and follow them via social media and read their blogs and content.

Search amazon for real books that will teach you the basics, and then apply what you learn, and start to create your own content.

Yes lisen to the above advice I did the same thing went buying wso after wso and was still pretty lost, getting a mentor is the best thing to do, it may cost you lump sum upfront
But you start buying wso's you will end up spending just as much if not more..

Stay clear if the wso section & get a mentor

Consider joining the war room. You can get a lot of valuable information there for the cost of one or two WSOs.

But you're going to have to decide on one type of business method. You can do that simply by reading the free information in this forum.

I agree with the majority of the feedback here. There is plenty of info on this site that is free. Whether or not it will take you to your goal is simply dependent on you thinking outside of the box and implementing strategies. Giving up cannot be an option and YES you need a mentor!! Now with that said be ready for some work. A good mentor will lay out a plan for you and then it is up to you to take action. If you do not follow the plan given I'd have to bet money that any other question you have will not be answered until you have completed the first assignments.

You may need to use info from several wsos to actually know a subject. Relatively easier genres include domaining and kindle.

If you search the forum you will find quite a few free WSOs, which will give you a lot of information to obsorbe

Thank you for all the feedback. I guess a mentor would be my best bet, but I can't afford to go that route now so I will have to look into that maybe later on down the line.
I have searched and searched these forums and learned a lot along the way, but still just don't quite get it. I have an idea of what I want to do (something within the health niche) but that's as far it goes. I am definitely not looking for a overnight get rich type thing, any method that does not involve blackhat methods or thousands of backlinks will have my attention.

Then once you read what she wrote you will have to decide...

1) Are you going to sell a product, or provide a service?

From what you wrote above it looks like you want to sell a product.

2) Ok then the next step then is to choose a niche.

You did mention the health niche.

That is a pretty broad niche. So what about the health niche interests you? What would you like to promote? Something about gaining muscle? Losing bodyfat? Increasing cardiovascular stamina?

2a) Choose one sub-set of that health niche.

3) Once you have done that then start looking on Clickbank or Amazon and choose a product, or a few products that capture your interest.

Then if you relook at Nightengale's post you will see that she wrote something about opt-in pages and autoresponders. Basically an email list.

This is where you drive people to your site, and on your site you have an opt-in form where they can enter their name and email information to get onto a newsletter.

4) So once you have your business model, your niche and a few products to promote, you then need to decide are you going to have an email list?

To make things simple you don't have to have an email list right away, but it would be good to start one soon.

Let's say that I were you. And I chose the health niche, and chose losing bodyfat, and chose a few products from Amazon to promote like, "The GI Diet" and any "Jillian Michaels Products" because I like her, lol.

5) Now once you have that stuff, you need to get your site setup.
Most people use wordpress.

6) Are you going to use free traffic methods or paid traffic methods?

Since you don't have much funds free traffic will work.

It's important to decide these steps that I laid out because then your focus starts to narrow down, which is really important.

And when your focus narrows down, you will not just buy any WSO, or read just any thread or post, but you will start looking for those things/information that will line up with what you need.

An example is I am just starting to learn about Payperclick and Google Adwords. So those kind of posts jump out at me, and also when I go to the WSO sub-forum I am ONLY looking for WSO's on that subject.

I don't care about facebook WSO's, Linkedin WSO's, backliking WSO's etc. I have blinders on towards everything except what is in line with my goals.

And to avoid information overload, that is what you need to do, is to answer those questions above, and put on blinders to everthing that isn't in line with your goals.

You don't need to read about Solo Ads if you aren't going to be building a list. You don't need to read about CPA or PPC if your business model is providing a service, etc.

I am sure you get the point.
