How to Market my Website

Hi all,

Can i have some expert advice on how to get my new social promotions website in full flow, as i know getting the first few hundred members is always the most difficult and i am totally stumped, its http://socialflipper.com

    A quick observation: the Facebook looking thumbs up symbol is a bit brand confusing for me. It is social media targeted so I would start right there - promote on social media!

      yes that is right , its similar style , but it pulls in an image of your social profile page on auto and links to it , so advertisers can see your genuine

    sounds to me that you need a SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AUDIT, mate.

    Why?

    To evaluate and identify exactly why your marketing isn't working and whats preventing you from achieving the results you want with your onine marketing.

    Too many people rush into find out HOW to generate traffic and results missing out 2 vital steps....

    WHY > WHAT > HOW

    Many people spend their time dealing with the RECURRING symptoms of poor, bad or selfish social media marketing instead of identifying and address the root cause of the issues, challenges and obstacles that are preventing them from achieving their marketing objectives.

    (You can't improve anything unless you know what it is you want to improve and why, and a have means of measuring the improvement.)

    This allows them to identify WHY their marketing may NOT be working, and what needs fixing and resourcing.

    You can't sensiblly make recommendations without first diagnosing the problem. Imagine if marketing consultants worked in the medical industry and all the advice they give out without prior diagnosis, there would be one helluva of a population cull.

    Once a diagnosis of the marketing problem(s) has been done, a plan can be drawn up stating WHAT's needed to be fixed, WHAT the priorities are and WHAT the human, technical and financial resources are that are required.

    Then, maybe (if it is adequately resource) it can be decided on HOW the plan will implemented, HOW the improvements will be made, and HOW the marketing activities will be evaluated - regularly.

    WHY > WHAT > HOW

    thats not a cop out, its merely suggesting you take a step back and evaluate where exactly you're at first.
