hey there,

You said you have a site already, it should define the niche you are in (since you are doing SEO, domain name is a pretty important factor).

What is the best niche to tap into? Personally, I don't think any other people can answer for you but yourself. There are a lot of profitable niches out there and it's best to find a good niche that you are passionate about. There is no best niche for everyone. However, if you are need help in picking a niche, go for health niche.

How to drive traffic to your site? You said that you used SEO, so it could be your main method. In addition, forum, social traffic could be good sources too. Check this out:

Thanks for the reply Ocaswiz! Kinda losing hope right now. for the past 8 months all post on my website is at 1st Page but my analytics show only 20 - 50 visitors per/week... no sales and so on..

You need to concentrate on ways to drive targeted traffic to your site. You can do this by networking with other sites similar to your own and backlinking through comments and contributions.

Effective traffic doesn't usually just fall in your lap. You have to go out there and find it by using methods to attract it to your site. Niche forums can work well, with dofollow signatures.

But a number one consideration, in my opinion, is to find effective, SEO optimised keywords that pertain to your website's content. You have to work out what potential customers will be searching for when they are online in relation to what your website offers. And you will also need to work out how to position your website as far along as possible on the purchasing path in relation to peoples' searches. In other words, when they have an intention to buy now, rather than at the browsing stage. Use "buyer keywords".

If you are happy with your website, the content on it and the way it has developed and if you are excited about future improvements and additions, then you are probably in the right niche for you. Best of luck!

you have to tell us for which keywords you are getting traffic and what's your niche. I assume you are maintaing a blog ,but tell us what are the topics of your post , If you share your website link then you get the right suggestons and if you don't want to disclose your website here , I suggest you to monetize it with adsense.

Hi,

If you have website then I believe you already have a niche.

The best niche will be the one which your have lots passion about the topic.

List down several topics that your are passionate about then find out if there are buyers on that niche.

You can be passionate about a niche but if there are no buyers then you cant make any money from that niche.

There are several ways to find out if there are buyers on a particular niche.

Do Google search to see if there are any available products on that niche or go to dummies . com website to check if there is a book already written on that niche.

I will avoid niches that have no products or dummies book on that topic.

With regards to driving traffic, I prefer Forum Marketing and Article Marketing where I can bring in only laser targeted traffic to my website.

The "best" niche is the niche you are passionate about. Don't expect someone to just 'drop' a niche on your lap. You might not like it. Besides, so called 'niche researchers' are usually (not all the time) out to sell you something. Don't be an easy mark for these people. Do some self-analysis first.
