Let's build a list of niche marketing traffic techniques...
1. Answer questions on Twitter. Doesn't even have to relate to your niche. People like it when another person tries to help them. Plus, it helps a lot if your twitter nick is also the name of your niche site.
2. Make YouTube videos with VALUE. Don't spam the site with random videos, but rather provide value and people will appreciate this a lot.
3. Arbitrage - Use PPC to get traffic. Keep your PPC prices down by arbitraging your landing page with other ads and/or affiliate links.
4. Pass around a free eBook that has a link to your site in it's footer.
5. Write a lot of articles on websites with high PRs.
6. Join blog discussions.
7. Brand your car. Seriously, do it only if your niche site has huge potential. :p
8. Create a Facebook Page with cool images/quotes people love sharing.
9. Once you start being somewhat profitable, offer free goodies and have raffles.
10. Create Squidoo pages.
11. Use Social Media bookmarking, but don't spam. (Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Pinterest, and etc.)
12. Try to get a mention on a quality blog.
13. Create compelling and SEO friendly titles.
14. Be original. Turn a regular topic into an exciting discussion. Do this by having original article titles, asking troll questions and engaging people in arguments.
That's all I've got for you. It's basic things, but I'm sure some newbies will somewhat appreciate the list. What have you got?
