How can I build a video game storefront website?

I want to make a website that is a store front for selling videos games. Meaning its my domain and home page that has dozens or hundreds of video games on my home page, and when someone clicks any game they get taken to say Amazon or eBay or IGn or something to buy the game theyre selecting.

I dont want to do anything but build it once as a front end and have my front page update everyday with new games, by itself without me having to do anything.
Its something I want to set it and forget it.

any ideas on how to do this?

Then why did you post? Need to bump your post count eh? Reported.

    As to the question...

MG1000, you don't say what sort of video games you are wanting to sell?

Are you looking at AAA titles? That might be a little tough, I'm not sure if these publishers have affiliate programs, they didn't use to; they tend to be mired in the old ways of putting boxes on store shelves. Until Steam came along, it was nigh on impossible to find and digital download of a non-MMORPG title. It's still not commonplace.

Your best bet might be to look at independant games. There are a lot of small time indie developers that also have affiliate programmes. Most of these games retail at around $20 so the margins are lower, but at least you can actually find affiliate programs.

One way to start is to set up a indie game review site or blog and just link to the games with an affiliate id. You can also set up a store site and sell from there, not sure how you go about that and set up a shopping cart; I haven't done that. It would be easy to research and find out though.

Oops. I forgot to mention. There is (or seems to be) a lot of competition in this niche. There are heaps of sites out there, and the big portals seem to draw a lot of customers. It will be a bit of work getting established, but don't let that stop you.

      ripsnorta2 thanks for the advice.
Really any games at any ranking. Even games that are a few years old.
I think I just might go through Amazon. I think they have a storefront system.

And its totally cool that the niche is overly saturated, Im well aware of that. This is something I like and I'll use it as a hobby project for fun and dont anticipate making any money on it for a long time.
      thanks
