Would you pay people to generate traffic for you?

Would IM professionals here pay people outside the US to generate traffic for them? Of course, pay is based on results-ie., actual work done not like at Odesk where clients pay for time. Only verifiable results.

Or would you prefer to work on traffic on your own? Why would you decide either way?

Careful who you pay to bring you traffic. Alot of the traffic being sold out there are bots or ptc traffic. Best traffic to pay for is Adwords and Bing, or Facebook IMO

I would rather bring my own traffic using paid ad, banners, going around and spending some time on offline marketing, video promo, and built my own. Wouldn't take a risk of compromising on my traffic quality.

      Just my Thought.

I'm talking about hiring people that are trained to get traffic from:

      forums
      blog comments
      blog posts
      SEO
      facebook fan pages
      facebook walls
      facebook photo shares
      instagram
      twitter

      etc etc

Basically, instead of YOU doing it, your traffic dude does it

You get a full report so you see everything is done manually and you pay for results.....

wow, facebook page promotions and instagram and forum marketing (not xrumer) are now called link building...... I don't think so. Some on the list are SEO-related, the rest are direct traffic building.

Again I would only use adwords, bing and facebook. Way too many scammers out there. That is way too much work for the person to do, for a decent price. Most likely they will automated all that you listed below, with software. You may get traffic from it, but not sure much of it will convert into sales...

I would rather work on learning how to drive traffic to my website rather then paying for it.

There are a lot of dishonest people out there who would offer you 50,000 website hits for $99 and when you get them all, you have not made ONE single sale or got one single subscriber. They basically got you computer generated traffic and not real people.

I've tried to generate traffic on my own through SEO and I've lost thousands and wasted months. I wish I would have hired outsources to do it for me or paid for PPC campaigns.

I learned the valuable lesson of time>money trying to save a dime trying to get "free" traffic. Nothing is free so to make the best use of your time it's best to invest money as you can always get more. Once time is gone there's no getting it back.

Surprised your post is still up, with the blatant self-advertising. Hmmm.
