Default Using free classifieds.

Does advertising affiliate links (cloaked of course) on classified ad site work to get sales?

Yes, to some extent.

There are a couple of sites out there which offer free classified ads for you to use. Put a listing for your affiliate product there and your income will be boosted especially if a lot of people visit the site to look at the classifieds. Craigslist is a very good classifieds site.

Hi,

Depends on the sites. Lots and lots of people are trying to earn a buck via arbitrage on Craigslist, nowadays. And some classifieds sites are blue from the affiliate links posted on them.

You've got to find some of these rare places where your fellow marketers haven't flocked together yet. Therefore you've got to do some browsing of your own first.

Yours, warriorly,

Ed

Yes, it is indeed that using free classified ads site can really increase your traffic. Because people do click and click because they were looking for a product or whatever or they are just fun of doing click and click. And it is more convincing to the so called clickers and surfers.

Thanks,
I tried to put a URL in one of Craiglists forums last year and got flagged right away. I assumed the same thing would happen in the regular classifieds so I didn't try it.
I tried today and was surprised that I could even use anchor tags. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens.

I was thinking that this post was more about US Free Ads and not Craigslist. I know that US Free Ads allows anything that you want but am not sure if you can rank for it. I am a dope when it comes to Craigslist and have never gotten any good traffic from it

I got flagged again. Not for the two I mentioned but for a CB product that I advertised in the photography and video section. Ugh!

Hi Ryan:

You can use the Free Sites to your advantage but before you post one ad look at a bunch of them and make a determination if they give you a feeling of professionalism or wanting to promote the next hair regrew system.

A few of the free sites are getting thousands posting the same opportunity and the views (not even the clicks to the product) are 0-2 because there is too much repetition. Even if you have the greatest and most ethical product if it ends up on a site that has mostly trash it won't help.

Spend a few hours researching the free sites and look at the type of posts and products they have. Good luck!

I just found a guy that will post CL ads for $1 a piece. Anyone have experience with posters like that? Seems like a good way to go if you're doing a ton.
