Website plug ins

Hey to all who reads my post,

I currently have a website that is being hosted by a hosting company here in the united states. What I am looking for is some info on what plug ins to use to get the blog look out of WP and get it looking more professional? I have seen some very beautiful websites that are being ran from WP and want mine to look like them !!!.....Any info someone can get me on plug ins or what to do besides using plug ins would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks Ken

    Are you sure you're looking for a plug in or a new theme for your site? You can always hire someone on Fiverr to build a quick custom page for you or upload any one of the millions of free WP themes online.

    It's your theme that will control the look more than anything else. You'll want to search out themes.

    There are some pretty decent free ones in the WP theme directory: WordPress › Free WordPress Themes

    But to get a really professional look, you may want to buy a premium theme. LOTS of theme developers out there. You might search around here on the forum for different suggestions, depending on what you want. "WordPress themes" is what you want to be looking into (not plugins ... at least not so much for design -- some will affect your design, but themes do more in general).
