$$ Making Money Methods - No SEO, No List, No Paid Advertising, No Clients

At a moment's notice, decided I'd start a thread where we can talk about making money online without the infamous 'SEO' or 'a list'.

So my abrupt 'idea', was to create this thread and have myself and other experienced marketers chime in with how we do it.

As we all contribute great ideas, strategies and concepts into this thread, the world might be a better place, ya never know

Before we begin the 'collaboration' of how to make money online without the 'usual suspects', let me clarify a couple points for everyone who over-complicates things.

The goal of this thread is to put together as many reasonable ways to accomplish the following TWO POINTS as we can.

At the end of the day, making money online boils down to TWO POINTS

1 - GET TRAFFIC

2 - DIRECT THAT TRAFFIC TO AN OFFER

"Wait it's not that simple" is what you're probably thinking... But yes, it really is that simple.

Do you need a website and a hosting account?? NOPE, but it's certainly a plus. You can always create a free website at Wordpress.org, sites.google.com, weebly.com, you can make squidoo lenses, etc and the list goes on.

Do you need a list? NOPE, but it's a great way to make money online. If you have a list, you can market to the same traffic more than once. HOWEVER, you have to get traffic to get that list right? You could always direct your traffic to an offer instead of a list right? I'm not saying don't build a list, I'm saying it's not essential.

Do you need to pay for advertising? NOPE, but it's certainly guaranteed traffic. There's plenty of places to get great traffic for free, you don't have to pay for it these days. Think about article directories, press release sites, social networks, blog networks, guest articles, photo sharing sites, video sharing sites, etc. All of those are free and some of the highest traffic sites that exist online LET YOU PUBLISH CONTENT ON THEM!

Do you need to get offline clients or provide services? NOPE, you can always just be an affiliate if you don't want the responsibility. You need traffic to land clients, you need traffic to get interest in your services, you can always send your traffic to an affiliate offer, or your own product.

Where there is a will, there is a way. Again you only need 2 things, and do 2 steps.

2 things you need - You need TRAFFIC, and you need AN OFFER.

2 steps to take - You need to get TRAFFIC, then send that traffic to AN OFFER.

So let's see where this thread goes. I'll start in the first reply.

    1 - GET (highly targeted and relevant) TRAFFIC

    2 - DIRECT THAT TRAFFIC TO AN OFFER (that will specifically appeal to the people that you are sending there!)

    METHOD - Questions and Answers

    One of my favorites, I don't talk about it much but it only takes a few minutes to get rolling.

    1 - Create a free site somewhere. Wordpress.com for example. And create a page or two promoting an affiliate product or CPA offer in a niche you're interested in.

    2 - Look for questions related to what you're promoting, then answer them and include a link to your free website as a reference/source.

    Simple, go find a product to promote, maybe something on clickbank about how to build a bird house.

    Now go to Google and search for various phrases related to the product. This situation, you might start searching for "what kind of wood should i use for a bird house", "best type of nails to bird houses", etc. Scan through the results and look for results popping up where somebody is asking a question that allows you to sign up and reply. This is a quick way to get your 'link' in front of targeted traffic. Simple right?

    Now go to Yahoo answers, Wiki answers, and similar Q&A sites and search for related questions there. You might search for questions about 'bird houses' or 'bird food' on these sites and answer whatever questions you can. These sites already get HUGE traffic, they're some of the highest traffic most well-known sites out there (and you can publish content on them ).

    Pretty simple. Find an offer, either make a page on your own site or on a free site promoting that offer. Find questions and answer them, to get some traffic to your offer. Notice how simple that was to include both crucial points.
    GET TRAFFIC (answer questions) > SEND TRAFFIC TO OFFER (your free site)

    Let's see what other easy 'traffic to offer' type methods we can get rolling here.

      3 - Lose wordpress site because wordpress doesn't allow affiliate marketing.

    I think there is a little more to it then
    1. Get traffic
    2. Get an offer

    Yes, that is the general idea but it is also very vague. I think this is why things become so frustrating, people need more information then "take action".

    The whole idea of getting traffic can be pretty elusive to a beginner just starting out. Thank you for actually offering up a way to get traffic that wasn't vague and gives people a realistic starting point and plan of action.

      free traffic is not elusive for newbies its all over the search engines for crying out loud just google Kim Roach and you're in business. Join a 100% commission network like payspree.com start working (IMHO PICK A TRAFFIC PROGRAM TO PROMOTE) everyone who needs traffic will be happy to buy a submitter from you or even a information product about traffic.

      there is also rap bank, jv zoo and digiresults and a lot more databases for instant commissions. its all free

    METHOD - Blog Comments

    These aren't 'just' for backlinks guys, I know alot of people comment on blogs just for this. But think about it, if they already have traffic and you post a comment that gets approved, some of that traffic might visit your site.

    What you're going to do is essentially, spend some time commenting on blogs related to the offer you're trying to promote, using your name and/or a hyperlink to get traffic to your web page.

    Similar to the first method about questions and answers, you'll need to find an offer to promote, and set up a page on your own or a free website promoting that offer.

    Once you set up your page, you're going to spend some time searching google for blogs in your niche that allow you to post comments or reply to posts. Any sites that let you post content in some way, on the page you found searching Google. There's a quick way to do this.

    Let's say you find a product about something golfing related that you want to promote. So you need to go to Google, and using some of the following formats to do your search.

    TOPIC PHRASE "leave a comment"
    TOPIC PHRASE "post a comment"
    TOPIC PHRASE "comment on this article"

    So if your promoting a golfing product, you might search for something like

    golf swing "leave a comment"

    This is going to bring up search results where the majority of the results will allow you to post a comment (most will have to be approved). If these sites have any traffic, the traffic will be super targeted for your offer.

    Leave helpful comments here, you're trying to drive traffic not create backlinks I know it's a weird concept but it's true. Focus on writing something unique and helpful for the people reading the webpage you're commenting on and for the owner of the site as well.

    Spend some time with this, and write good comments, you might just get enough relevant traffic coming from it to make some sales here and there, possibly for months or even years to come.

    Another simple way to get traffic to your offer.

    I think your giving off the wrong idea about list building, that it's not needed. There was a thread on the forum yesterday from a someone saying they made something like 5 sales with only a list of 150 people, and imagine what you could make if you had a list with thousands of subscribers.

    I think if you want to build a business, list building is essential, it's long term. Anyway, here's my method to make money.

    YouTube! All you need to do is find a product to promote, create a video and upload it.

    Here's a few steps to follow.

    1. Find a product to promote
    2. Create a video promoting the product
    3. Keyword research
    4. Upload to YouTube + SEO
    5. Build links
    6. Drive traffic
