I don't know If you're going to find any free PLR articles. Have you considered writing them yourself after research, or simply re-writing the articles In your own words?

Think about it, do you really think a plr writer or store would just give it away after putting in the work to produce it? Would you?

Seriously, you can get HUGE plr article packs for around five bucks all day... are you seriously that cheap not to spend a few dollars to grow your business?

Huge numbers of them certainly seem to do exactly that, Don. There are hundreds and hundreds of them available free. (I imagine their quality's not great, but that's perhaps going to be true of some for which you pay $5, as well.)

Hey, it never hurts to ask.

I have googled PLR articles, but wouldn't mind asking for recommendations for PLR articles.

google it my friend but get ready to be a rewriter. You cannot just slam these things up online anything multiple people use needs a good rewrite. Its really easy just go line by line and use a thesaurus for awhile after you do it for awhile you'll get really good at it and you will not need a thesarus at all plus it will just take you minutes per article. The free plr articles are all over the place. Dr. Mani taught me how to rewrite when I worked for him a few years ago.

PLUS that! Here's some good information from me that might help you out even further tho. The web is INFORMATION just research your topic and write a new article after that. HEY thats your own articles! you could easily sell plr of those yourself.

10 packs of original articles sell great as WSO's for 25$ each for example! Limit to 50-100 packs do the math.

        Who needs PLR articles.

There are scads and scads of free PLR articles and even reports and ebooks on the web. Just google 'free plr' and related terms and you'll find more than you can ever use.

Keep in mind that the free stuff is usually very widely distributed so you will have to rewrite it extensively, even using it for things that don't get ranked. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Be careful with the free PLR as far as being accurate, too. There are many packages put out by people who do little research or even make stuff up off the top of their head. You also have to make sure it's up-to-date information.

Most people who tell you that free PLR is useless either don't like any PLR because they don't know how to use it effectively or they are selling PLR so don't want you getting it free. If you can be creative and put some work into it, the free PLR can be very useful in helping you reach your goals.

What she said. Google it and you will find lots. You will probably end up subscribing to lists, but hey, thats the name of the game. Spin the heck out of it, (I suggest manually/rewrite) but make sure it is still decent quality when you are done or it's a waste of time.

I've seen bundles of 100,000 articles for $5 on fiverr. While not exactly free, it's about as close to free as you can get when you figure the per article cost.

Of course articles like this will be outdated, some probably stolen or scraped web content, and of almost no (to absolutely no) value whatsoever. The only way I would use articles like this to peruse through them and look for possible ideas you might write about yourself. If you post these articles as is, you will be doing so at some risk- especially to your reputation.

            Good luck,

            Steve

There are plenty of free PLR articles around. Most good PLR providers will offer a free pack of articles as a sample, so you can get some really high quality content that way.

As others have said, you'll want to spend more time rewriting these articles since they are more widely distributed.

The only "price" for any of the free articles will be your email, but that's to be expected for any freebie.

I have some free articles through the link in my sig. Also, here are some other top PLR sites that have a free sample. It's usually found on their opt-in form or a link in the top or bottom menu.

    All Star PLR
    Net PLR
    PLR a la Carte
    PLR Content Market
    All Private Label Content
    Savvy PLR Buyer

That should give you plenty to start with!

What exactly do you plan on doing with free PLR content? :\

With a Google search and some time on my hands, I could probably compile a million free PLR articles all across the web but I'm not sure what benefit they could possibly serve anyone.

Well, right off the top of my head...

I'd say it could be used quite effectively by a writer offering rewrite services, as samples of their work. They'd simply show the original plr article, then their rewrite after it showcasing their writing skills.

Now, why didn't I think of that before, lol!

There's 2 types of free PLR Articles. There's those PLR Articles that have PLR licenses that allows the holder to give away the PLR Articles. These are often those mega PLR Article packs that can be found all over the place. Which means, a lot of people most likely have these PLR Articles.

If you're looking for a mega pack of free PLR Articles, then you can get 10 470+ Free PLR Articles just by joining Resell-Rights-Weekly.com as a free member.

Then, you get the second type of PLR Articles... those that you get directly from the PLR Content Provider.

These types of Free PLR Articles are most likely given away by the PLR content provider as part of a marketing strategy... to allow potential customers to see their level of quality, or as an incentive to join their list.

Getting Free PLR Content directly from the PLR content provider is a great way to get high quality PLR content for free.

There are loads of free PLR resources online; spend 10 minutes googling it and you'll find plenty. Just be aware that the free ones aren't always the best quality so you'll have to re-write if you're using them for content (particularly if you need the content to be unique of course).

Failing that there are loads of sellers on Fiverr who offer thousands of articles for $5. Just make sure you contact the seller first to check which niches their articles are in; you don't want to end up with a load of articles on dog grooming if you're trying to sell power tools!

Ha Ha. Thanks. That was Spot on.

But, there's also another reason why I resurrected this thread (and will probably resurrect other PLR related threads as well). There's not enough new threads discussing PLR related issues.

This forum is probably the best place to have PLR related discussions... yet there's not that many (well, not as many as I would like).

So, if resurrecting threads gets the PLR discussions going, then I guess... (insert dramatic background music) there's going to be a few more resurrected PLR related threads very soon...

There is a wealth of free plr articles available, but make sure to rewrite them and not get trapped by the recommended spin software that comes with them.

      Besides what people already said...

Look into giveaways. There are usually lots of them offered. Some are relatively new.

Yes, I agree. Sign up at plr providers' websites for their newsletter/ads and they often include a free article once a week or on signup.

Those articles are all over the map though. If you are looking for info on a certain subject, it might be worthwhile getting some cheap plr on fiverr or similar in your subject. Or maybe splurge on one pack of well written and well researched plr on your topic from a plr provider with a good reputation.

Then go to EzineArticle.com. They have how-to-write-articles tutorials about how to make multiple articles out of a single one by expanding the info in the original article. I'm not talking about spinning or anything. It's just fast and simple ways to add additional facts plus some rewriting of the original article and you end up with another entirely.

Saves you money and gives you quality content, which beats any value from cheap and outdated plr all to heck.

To find free PLR articles just use the Big G and search for them :

    free plr articles weight loss
    free plr articles dog training
    free plr articles dating tips
    etc. etc.

You will need to spin them or re-write them if you want to pass Copyscape and make them more unique. Do you have an easy way to spin them ?

There is a gig on Fiverr for 300,000 PLR articles with an easy method to spin them.

Use the spun articles for your Web 2.0 sites like Weebly, Blogspot, LiveJournal, Xanga and place your backlinks in them to your main site.

Then use a scrapebox gig on Fiverr and blast the heck out of your Web 2.0 sites (not your main site).

    Good luck !

This is perhaps the perfect way to get your main site heavily penalized by Google.

You can't, seriously, be naive enough to imagine that doing the "blasts" to the Web 2.0 sites rather than to your main site is somehow going to save your main site from being penalized, Greenowl? Do you really think Matt Cutts is an idiot and a liar, and that they don't do what they say so publicly and repeatedly that they do, and which others who've lost their rankings confirm that they do? (I do have some difficulty accepting that people can actually believe this!).

That's why there are so many threads here in which people explain that that's why their sites have incurred such heavy SEO penalties, in some cases even destroying their businesses. Some have even been told openly by Google that having done exactly this is the reason their sites no longer appear in the SERP's.
