You could try joining some FB groups related to your niche... Maybe people who are fans of a certain team that your program sells tickets to or fans of artists that they promote.

    That's one idea.

I use groups to promote my blog and I get some decent traffic from it. If you do this, I might start out by just offering some info or making a few comments before posting links to your landing page or blog.

From what I've noticed, groups tend to be pretty active and people do click on links there. So, I bet if you joined a number of these and frequented them regularly with info and a couple of links here and there, you'd get some nice results.

    Hey Macmani,

If you are going to do any promotional activities on FB you need a page. Personally I would have a page for your site. Unless you are looking to skip you site and hit them up with offers pretty much straight away, in which case set up a page for each sport/artist.

Find related pages and contact the owners to see if you could get them to promote you, whilst using FB ads to grow your pages.

Important thing with pages is interaction and remembering people are not on facebook to buy.....they are there to be entertained! Doesn't mean you cannot make $$$ of them...it just means you need to be clever about it and aim to build a relationship.

Post regularly, come up with creative content and don't spam your offers and pages tend to grow very well, but they do need attention and commitment!

Hope this gives you a few ideas,

    Chris

Having a page for your site on FB is definitely a must. And getting your site to autopost to FB and twitter will keep you noticed!

But joining groups related to your niche is going to get you targeted fans. Join as many as you can and post as regularly as you can in all of them. Maybe 3 times a day - depending on activity and content.

Notice which ones are most active or which ones are most interactive during the early stages and adjust your posts accordingly to give the groups value.

There are social media portals that will help you do this. BUT Don't spam unless the group itself is spammy!

Start by creating your own facebook page and link it to your twitter account. Try to increase the number of likes on your facebook page once you created it.
