First of all, your question is too board. I suggest you narrow down the question.

Like which type of business you want to learn? Click-Bank? CPA? Email Marketing? Blogging?...SEO?

when you want people to give you a better solution, first you need to ask a better question. Hope this can help you get a better answer.

I started with Ewen Chia course and honestly, his course was lame. Then I found Mark Ling with affiliorama and I must admit Mark is the best IMO.

What kind of IM coaching do you require?

What sort of topics do you want to cover specifically?

    1. Identifying a market niche or opportunity?
    2. Creating your own product
    3. Packaging your own services
    4. Understanding what features to have on your website?
    5. How to install, set up and prepare a blog such as WP?
    6. Create a customer profile and know where they hangout online?
    7. Copywriting on your site?
    8. Identifying and creating new revenueu streams for your "model" or business?
    9. KPIs? (Key performance indicators) and how to evaluate progress & performance
    10. Tactics and which ones are the best in areas such as social media, advertising, backlinking, SEO, affiliate marketing etc

The problem with most coaching programmes is that they are often too vague or too technical, others are simply not practical enough or dont share real world case study examples (instead of the mailing result to a friend) etc

Often, their offering is TOO BROAD and not specific enought to an individual's personal requirements.

Know what you want, and then shop around, instead of getting "sold" something that might end up costing a lot of time and effort and not wholly relevant to your needs.

PM me if you have any other questions, and I'll get my thinking cap on.

    regards

    Fraser

    Hi DC,

I used A cheap & simple membership site for Internet Marketing. http://www.nolistnoidea.com to start off with... covers the basics really well. It used to cost $9.99 per module, of which there were 6 (not sure now though).

For absolute beginners Chris Farrell's is great. Also Mark Ling's Affilorama is good as well.
I first got turned on to the whole IM thing by joining MaverrickMoneyMakers. Mack opened up my eyes to what's out there and what could be possible.

There is one guy who I always like to recommend even though I never gave out my own affiliate link.

His name is Terry Dean of TerryDean.org. He is an online business coach.

I really like his stuff. He is one of the best out there in my view and can help newbies a whole lot.

      Agree.

Also, longevity in this business means a lot too. I bought Terry Dean & Marlon Sanders' "ebooks" and Corey Rudl's physical course back ~1999, 2000.

Thanks to these pioneers I got my start doing business online.

I honestly can't say enough about Justin Popovic's coaching. He's both a really great guy that knows how to get the best out of people on an individual basis, but also incredibly knowledgeable. He's been there and done that, and he truly wants to see his students succeed and will help you out any way he can. His track record is amazing and if you do exactly as he says, you have a huge leg up.

I think even I would suggest Terry Dean. You will get good information, ebooks, videos, and so many more things.

Please share your experience with the process and how it helped you. Good Luck!

If you are brand new I recommend Chris Farrell.

He will explain even some of the most complicated steps about internet marketing, so that a 4th grader can understand and implement what he is teaching.

Best one I've found so far: IMwithJamie by Jamie Lewis. There is a reason why it's number one on Clickbank right now for Internet marketing.

It's geared towards being an IM affiliate and also towards eventually creating your own products that you can sell via Clickbank and other similar sites.

The program is easy on your wallet and delivers a lot of value. And no, I"m not an affiliate, just someone who's gotten a lot of use out of the program!

There is no such thing as there are too many variables to be able to say "what
      is best."

Your own skill sets and experience will affect the decision.
Your match to the coach will affect the decision.
You dedication to learning will affect the decision.
Your budget will affect the decision.

A good coaching program for John Doe may be horrible for you.

If you're looking for a poll of great programs and then you're going to pick one
based off that poll, I can say with at least 50% certainty that you will be
      disappointed.

Research the person you are considering going with. Yes, get referrals, but take
them with a grain of salt.

Instead, concentrate more on how many complaints you find online about the
person or course. If there are numerous complaints, there just may be
      something to them.

When I coached (gave it up) I was a bad match for some people. It happens.

But ultimately, you will only get out of the program what YOU put into it.

My 2 cents for whatever they're worth.
