Getting an app to rank for your business name...

If you make an app, and it ranks highly for your business name in the search engines, that can be used for 2 purposes

1. Makes your online reputation better.
2. More downloads of your app.

Do you have any tips on how to make sure that the iTunes and Google Play links are on the first page?

I've looked at random companies and can't find any patterns. Paypal's app is on the first page, for example. But the app for the Pittsburgh Penguins, a local hockey team, is all the way on the 4th page for the terms "Pittsburgh Penguins".

    Ranking with iTunes and Google Play has to do with a well filled out product and comments/keywords on this product. You can send backlinks to your Google Play or iTunes pages to rank better if you want.
