Please i need your opinion about this IM plan

hi guys i finaly made my choise and im going to start with affiliate marketing i know it's hard to do it because i hear that most people start with adsense and cpa and after they get some experience and money they start with affiliate marketing but i think there is nothing impossible in this world so i decide to market clickbank product and there is my plan :

do a market research ( i already did it it's "weight loss")
find a subniche in the weight loss niche i can't make a dicision that's what i find after a 2 days of research :

Lose Weight Fast
Healthy Diet and Life Style
Healthy Vegetarian Diet
diet pill
natural diet program
Diet to Lose Weight Fast
melt body fat
Weight Loss Foods
Lose Pregnancy Weight
Weight Loss Programs
weight loss for teenagers
weight loss for weman
weight loss for men
weight loss for pregnant women
lose 7 pounds
lose weight in 30 days
7 days weight loss plan
How to Lose 20 lbs. of Fat in 30 Days... Without Doing Any Exercise
weight loss recipes

i don't know if they are realy a subniches or not but thats what i found
but im gonna take 2 to 3 days to do some research in forums, ebook stores, articles directories ....

a keyword research offcurse to build my blog on

make some content and that is the hard difficult part i don't have a good english and i think that you noticed that from my writing im morrocan that's why but i have the intention to make my english better but for my content im gonna go with articles directories to get some and i think i could use some spinning techniques to use them i guess i don't have a choise if i want my website to rank good on google

create a blog, and a squeeze page and i already have a facebook and a twitter stratégies to get free targeted traffic i know it takes time but i have 0 dollar to invest in traffic

add my blog to search engines + bookmark my articles + make high quality backlinks ( offcurse i'll do at least 10 edu backlinks)
try to generate some traffic from other sources like forums

and this is a 3 months plan to do my first sell

that was my plan i know it's not that good and that's what i did get from some research that i did and book reading and from watching some videos courses i would love your opinion about it and just know that im just gonna use free methodes with my own hand because i can't afford any investing right now
so i would love your opinion for my plan

ps : just know that im not gonna do affiliate marketing to just get money no absulotly not i realy would like to help people with there problems

When it comes to weight loss products, I would suggest using the one on CPA networks.

    They convert a lot better.

Clickbank works well for very niche dieting though. But for general stuff stick with CPA networks.

You may want to hire someone to write content for you, thats my first suggestion.

thank you for your suggestion Greedy and you're absolutely right because i think that most of cpa offers are free and that's what make them convert well and i would consider to do some cpa offers but i guess i have to build a good list to make some serious cash

    -----------------------

connorbringas i know but im strarting underground and i have no money to invest right now i already invest some cash to buy some video courses and ebooks and im broke now
i guess i could use content from articles directories and spinning plr content i guess that would be good right ?

Weight loss is so done you cant even call it a niche anymore, its a market, and a fairly saturated one at that. Id say choose niche.

I disagree. It's crowded because there's a LOT of money sloshing around! If you want to funnel a nice chunk of it into your bank account, you're probably going to have to create a product that has more intense, quality content than many of the less saturated niches - where we read every day about people NOT making their first sale or NOT making nearly enough to make it worthwhile.

    Do you really think,

    weight loss for women,
    weight loss for man,
    weight loss for teenagers,

is not as saturated as general weight loss?

Incidentally things like 'diet pill' , 'loose 7 pounds' , 'melt body fat' are not niches they are keywords, and very bad keywords at that (there to short tail)

    FirstSocialApps weight loss for women,
    weight loss for man,
weight loss for teenagers, as subniches is easy to handle that weight loss as generale niche or market as you say even if don't agree with u because i think that weight loss is a part of the health market but for diet pill' i know it's a keyword but as general it's a part of the suppliment niche i even said before that im not sure that they are subniches because i was just searching for something that i can spécialise and focus on

but i guess you're more experienced than i am and you know a lot about IM so i would be glad if you can guide me how to choose a sub-niches the right way because im just do in it as the way that i read it in some IM ebooks and i'm on my way to learn how to do it the right way

    A sub-niche isn't a keyword, it's a narrower market. So for example:

    Niche: Weight loss
    Sub-niche: weight loss for women

But even weight loss for women is going to be huge. So you want to try to "niche down" even more (as much as possible, really).

Sub-sub-niche: weight loss for women over 30
Sub-sub-sub-niche: weight loss for women over 30 with children

You see how this goes? Every time you add another element, the market gets smaller and smaller. "Weight loss for women" would be a market with tens of millions of people just in the US alone, so it's way too big. You want to try to speak to a smaller market of people, a market that is specific enough that its members will feel like you're talking directly to them. "Weight-loss for mothers over 40 with full-time jobs" would be an example. Then you can talk to their specific situation, because they are going to have a bunch of problems that a woman who is single and a college student won't have.

You could niche down much further as well; make it for black people, or some other ethnic group. Make it for women who have had a particular type of surgery, or who have food allergies, or any other medical condition. Etc.

    Hope this helps.

Alex Nordach thank you a lot you cleared a lot of things for me i guess choose a smaller niche it will be much better and easier than work in bigger niches as weight loss or weight loss for men or else but i have a question don't you think that it will be more difficult to get targeted traffic spécialy that im just depending on free ways to get them ?

No, it won't be more difficult. Think about it this way: You want to market to a very specific group of people. You want to try to convince 1% of the people 100% of the way to buy your product, instead of trying to convince 100% of the people 1% of the way. You see how this works? The first way, you get some sales. The second way, you don't get any.

Being specific in your niche and also with your keywords helps you to do this.

You should be very clear in your own mind who you are marketing to; be clear and specific in your advertising, the articles you write and so on; and willing to turn away anyone who is not your perfect, exact, slam-dunk customer. The internet is a big big place, and believe me, even doing this there will be plenty of people for you to sell to.

You may not be able to drive as much traffic with a smaller niche but the traffic you DO generate should be laser targeted and more likely to convert.

No actually by making your niche as small as you can you are making it in many ways more easy to get targeted traffic. For example, if you were doing just weight loss, you would be in a huge market, which would make you think that you can get lots of traffic since there are so many millions of customers in that market. But this is wrong thinking, in fact the fact that there are millions of people in the market is just what is going to prevent you from getting traffic. Because with a market with millions of people your going to have to compete with massive company's with gigantic budgets and resources that you dont have.

So you get your niche as small as you can, so if you end up doing "Weight loss for working women over 35 with kids" then your market is much smaller but so is your competition. Even with this specific market there is plenty of women out there over 35 with kids who would like to loose some left over 'baby weight' but dont have time to be cause of there jobs. So you can target them, give them tips, suggestions , lots of stuff, and you will have much less people to compete with for search rankings and hence more traffic.

Incidentally a niche is your target market, thats why 'diet pills' are not a niche, since your not trying to market TO diet pills.

'Weight loss tips for computer programmers' IS a niche, you can market to people who are computer programmers who are over weight.

Niche simple means 'a specific portion of the whole': So your first goal is going to be WHAT are you trying to market? You all ready stated , weight loss / health info or products, now WHO are you trying to market to? For the WHO be as specific as you possibly can.

I agree...you should definitely focus on long-tail keywords and narrow down your target audience as much as possible.

People who are serious about buying a certain product/guide/etc. are going to be looking for something specific to their needs.

SteveCb06 i could say i agree with you but that gonna take a lot of work and it's gonna take some time to build a list

FirstSocialApps now i understand how it will be more easier to get targeted traffic, so the smaller the niche would be the easier the competition i'll have and that's mean good ranking in search engines but i must work on that making quality content and backlinks to get good results and i know diet pills it's not a niche ^^ but and to be honest with u i don't like the chemical stuff like pills and other supplements and i would not use them for my self if i was in the situation because of the side effects and stuff so i guess i would never think about market them.
you're explanation make me understand a lot now than before and i'm gonna take those last questions and try to answers them to finaly get what i want

wwstewart i couldn't agree more because that's the idea that i get from everybody s answers and it will be useful for me as a newbie to focus on something spécific

So, what about targeting the product name keyword? In this case your are competing with only the affiliates of this certain product.

And it will not be that hard to convince people to buy the product as they know about it and they already search for it by name.

I hope that helps. Thank you.

So to summarize your strategy, you plan to drive free traffic (social media, content syndication, SEO) to your blog and squeeze page to make your first sale within 3 months yes?

How exactly do you plan on progressing the prospect to make that first sale? That's the tricky part. And please don't get overwhelmed. Just getting going and getting your feet wet is important.
