Advice needed, JV alternatives

The MMO niche? Ouch, you mean like a MMO game? A MMO based forum?

Some more information would be helpful because if you're trying to come up with a large scale investment on a MMO game that would currently be suicide.

Oh, when I saw the "MMO" term come up, I was automatically thinking you were going to try to go toe to toe with World of Warcraft or something as equally as insane. I was going to say, some rather large name companies have tried since 2004 but give it a shot :p

Making Money Online is so saturated that it's so easy to find people with lists or relevant websites that your idea can go out to. What you want is not a JV it sounds like, what you want are investors and there are plenty of media/internet investors but they're not going to invest into something like a "this will teach people to make a bazillion bucks online for $17" but they're going to want an outstanding idea.

There is someone local in town here who got a $30,000 loan for a "groupon" style idea not too long ago. I don't remember the individual name of the organization that loaned him the cash or how much % they wanted but I would avoid loan sharks or sharks in general. They're going to want anywhere from 30-51% of your business so they can push you out if it starts to do successful.

I understand, thank you very much for your answer. I have a solid business plan though, have my own "money making software" but thanks to my country goverment I am stuck right now when it comes to initial advertisement.

If there is any warrior here that knows about an "investor group" or individual I could contact please point me in the right direction, because I can only do this before the end of this year and can't rely on any kind of investor but someone that warriors have found trustworthy.

Pm me with your idea, I've been looking for a venture like this, but you would have to be willing to explain 100% of your business plan before we talk investment amount.
