Facebook / twitter apps posting on your behalf

Hi Guys

Many of you have no doubt used apps that will allow twitter to be linked to facebook (and also Pinterest). However, it asks permission to "post on your behalf". Things like, photos, updates AND MORE. It's the AND MORE bit I'm not too sure about. Does this mean you are giving permission to the App creators to post stuff of their own to your site/facebook?

Cheers
Phil

    Yes that's right.
There are a lot of such apps available on WSO but you have to use them very responsibly. They give the marketer the ability to post on the person's wall in the person's name!

This will of course put many people off accepting the app and really annoy those who are caught out unawares.

I see, that's what I was worried about. I'll be avoiding that then!

      Thanks for your help
