Question About Aweber Spam

I just noticed that i got 1 complaint about 3 days ago. When i sent out a message to my list i didn't get any opens which is really strange. I have one of my emails on the list and i noticed and the email i sent ended up in my gmail spam box. The message isn't even spammy at all.

Are all my messages gonna be marked as spam from here on out? Will no one see the messages i send from now on?

Maybe you could post the email here. Something doesn't seem right. How many emails were sent out? How did you get the email addresses?

Here's the thing tho none of my emails i sent ever went into my spam box for email address on the one account that is mine.

I got the emails from a squeeze page with an opt in. Just a plain normal method. (yes all through aweber) nothing added

I've sent out over 10 messages in the past month. All worked fine never ended up in the spam folder and always got opens.

My list is very small only 48 people

That doesn't sound right at all. Post your email and let's have a look. And yes, as KingFish asked, how did you get the emails. Did you import them or did they signup through aweber form?

Seems most of the FREEbie emails are turning their SPAM filters sky high....

I notice many of my emails to Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail are getting delivered to the SPAM folder....Even with SpamAssassin saying the email is "0" the emails are getting delivered to the SPAM folder...

aWeber has the BEST delivery rates I've seen, but the emails are still getting sent to the bit bin....

Hmm. I've not had this problem at all of my messages being sent into spam. I even have my friends test, by broadcasting out to them without optin, and they still come through. granted, my messages are not spammy at all.

Aweber seems to be having an increasing number of deliverability issues these days.

I had a running conversation a couple weeks ago via email with seth godin about his deliverability with feedblitz.com. No, i am not name dropping, i don't know him, but he always responds to questions like that for me and i know he knows business.

The numbers he was giving me seemed almost unbelievable, so i had to test it. I called them and imported about 100 k emails from my aweber account.

i sent an email from aweber to that list on monday. Then on wendesday I sent another email to that list from feedblitz (like normal). I was floored with the results. My open rate was almost 60% better at feedblitz.

now don't get me wrong, their system is no where near the aweber system for the way IMers use things.

But my first experience with them indicates they know how to get emails delivered. obviously, i am very early in the testing game with them, but so far so good.

WOW. That interesting. I guess it's mostly for blog subscriptions?
