Can you infract a member for not leaving review?

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is any rule when you can infract a member if they asked you for a 'review copy' of a product, but later when you request for the review to be posted they ignore you and don't post the review?

Thanks

Uh, I don't think so. That's between you and the "reviewer" - not the forum.

I realise, however it was a thread on the forum asking for reviews on a product. Kind of annoying how people can get away with it, they basically just receive a free copy of the product, and can't even do the simple request of leaving a review in return, ungrateful..

That's between you and reviewer. Unfortunately, people are going to burn you that type of stuff. Hopefully you got a lot go good reviews from others though. Good luck!

If it's an established member and/or someone who's left previous reviews, it's always possible that he/she is sparing your feelings by not submitting a less than favorable verdict. If it's a new member with no history, take it as a lesson in how not to send out review copies.

Either way, probably best to forget about it and move on.

No. It's not for that purpose. Personally, I don't give out review copies of anything. I launch my product and my real customers leave reviews. Works well for me and it's a great deal more genuine than giving out review copies.

It's the nature of some people online. Sounds like the idea of giving out review copies isn't sitting well with you. And based on your question, it's kind of understandable. If i were you i would just sell the WSO and let people send reviews/testimonials to you.

I recently read on WF about another Warrior who charged for the review copy, then after the review was posted, refunded half of the price. Something to think about for the future.
