Stuff required on site by law...?

What things would be required by law to be on a membership site?

Privacy policy?

Contact page?

Any other stuff?

Thanks

I highly suggest that you google it to get an accurate answer to your question.

Really? Why couldn't the answer be found here?

I don't know the answer, OP, but I hope someone chimes in who does because I'd be curious to know too.

You are likely to get a number of responses here saying
Don't ask for legal advice on an open forum.

The answers you get will only be opinions. As is this one.

Yes Google around a bit to get some answers but remember that those will not be legal advice either.

By legal you probably mean FTC requirements so start there.

European rules also may apply. cookies!
Do you store personal data (likely if a membership site) then not an "on-site" requirement but data protection act may apply in you are UK or EU.

Google (Search Engine) T&C's will also apply if you plan to rank any pages or run Google ads.

If it is a non SEO closed membership site and you are not selling anything then there may be a lot less "legal requirements" than a sales page or affiliate or AdSense blog.

Why are you on the forum? Why make that post? Heck, just close the forum and Google everything.

Did it occur to you that Google directs people to places like the WF so they can find answers to questions?

The OP's question is too vague for anyone to respond. Where is the site located? What is the subject matter? No one knows if the membership site is free and about walking dogs, or $997 per year for stock market investors.
